What does Tom Mars have on Ole Miss?
He just mentions to Pat Forde that OM should do the right thing and grant players their release and PRESTO, the entire OM stance changes. They went from "Only seniors will be able to transfer" to schools parking the university jet in Oxford while they openly shop through rebel players

To be fair nobody was right on the Sanctions the NCAA gave out. Ole Miss didn't get hit with 25 scholarship reductions and some people thought they were getting a 3 year bowl ban. Freeze didn't get hit hard and be a head coach this year. The NCAA half-assed the penalties and nobody thought that would happen.

You're right. But it almost seems as if there are 2 sets of sanctions: The sanctions that were announced, and then the sanctions that are actually enforced. Why else would OM hire Matt Luke and then allow the no-holds-barred transfer of players?

Im fine with the release of players but its kind of BS to have someone fly up to you door and recruit them in town.
We got in trouble for a loaner car and sleeping on a couch. This Mary Poppins wannabe rolls up in an official University jet to recruit players still enrolled at the OM.
Someone should at least knife a tire or something

I'm in Oxford for the day visiting a friend. If I see a single Michigan logo I will do just that. The players wanting to transfer are part of that recruiting class that made little to no sense as to why they signed with Ole Miss.
Likely the worst offenders and they want a fresh start? frick that. Dwell in the Ole misery you chose.
