Really? You thought the travel calls were called fairly on both sides?

I only watched off and on and a saw at least 1 Mizzou travel not called, and it turned into a 3.

You thought the Technical foul for placing the basketball on the court after a poor travel call was appropriate?

Didn't see this either, but maybe. The officials want the ball handed back to them or tossed back to them just like in football. I'd bet if someone got flagged or no called on a PI and when the ref was asking for the ball the player just sat it down he'd be flagged for it in most cases.

You thought the player grabbing our PG around the waste and sending him violently to the court WASN'T flagrant?

He didn't get ball so by rule it should have been, although Pressey definitely made it look worse than it was.

The calls were bullshite. However, this game will bode well for us later on. It was hostile, they played well enough to win.

Its still December.

I HATE BLAMING THE REFS BECAUSE IT REALLY LOOKS PATHETIC AND IS JUST A BUNCH OF EXCUSES, BUT I CANNOT HELP IT IN THIS INSTANCE. IT WAS SUCH AN INJUSTICE THAT I CANNOT RESIST BLAMING THEM BECAUSE THAT WAS AN ABOMINATION

If you thought that was bad, you guys are not going to have a good time watching you team play on the road in the SEC...

This was your first and only true road game in the non-con portion of the schedule. We had a tough time getting to the line at Michigan and he "seemed" like the refs "helped" Michigan out as well, it is part of playing on the road and it only gets worse in SEC play...

Yeah someone for mizzou had a huge no call on a travel that he ended up kicking out for a 3.

Trust me, it's JUST as bad in the Big 12. It's a problem that PLAGUES college basketball regardless of conference. Officiating is ridiculously biased towards the home team 90% of the time, and that is what differentiates college BB from any other major sport.

It's why CBB isn't very popular during the regular season.

I absolutely hate how the refs determine a game more than the players half the time.

On the road, you're damn near hopeless to get calls.

Can you post more normal less trollish stuff? You're not so bad when you're not being an unlikable bitch.

Having watched quite a few big12 games over the years, trust me, I've longed for those officials to replace those in the SEC...

Protect the home team, unless you are playing Kentucky is how it works in basketball. In football it is the higher ranked team and Bama.

GREAT college basketball game to watch. Piss poor execution down the stretch for Mizzou, but that's to be expected from a Haith coached team.

I think Pressey's excessive flopping on that last play prevented the flagrant from being called.

Well that's a bit much. It was biased. Just wasn't any more biased than we'll see at Page Memorial in our favor.

It's been a while since I remember a team having 2 fouls with 10 seconds left in a half.

Talk about a rough 45 seconds.

Missed shot...Foul...Turnover...Turnover

Followed a minute later by...yep, Turnover. Just can't do that down the stretch. We need him to lead this team, not just play flashy.

Yes I did. There were instances on both sides where calls were missed. Just like any game. It didn't seem biased to me.

Yeh your correct.....they did miss alot of calls. Those missed fouls came in handy at the end for UCLA to run time off the clock. Yep your right. Think about how many games you actually see this happen.....I can't remember the last time I seen that though I'm sure it has happened many times...for UCLA at home.

They didn't really foul though. You can't call fouls just to even out the team totals.

As do I. Home-court advantage is a GREAT thing. However, leave it to the FANS to create that advantage. The refs in college basketball need to do a DRASTICALLY better job of being objective towards both teams.

Are you sure you watched the game? There were several VERY rough possessions where no fouls were called.

Obviously not. Most fans don't watch a game of their team impartially. However, most teams don't go 19:51 and only get whistled for 2 fouls.

Get over yourself. You're overselling a partial point. The reffing wasn't horrible. It was certainly tilted to UCLA.
