I will say this. We gave that away as a team.

Pressey...all flash no leadership. Waited until the end of regulation when we needed him most to start forcing and turning things over.

Bell...Missed an uncontested gimme late? Serious?

Ross...Gotta hit your free throws late son.

Brown...Trouble handling it late in regulation gave us no real shot.

Oriakhi...Drop the showing up the refs.

Now having said that, that was one of the most disgusting displays of refereeing I have ever seen.

UCLA will be ranked by the end of the year. They have a lot of talent.

This wasn't a horrible loss. It just looked that way because we didn't closeout a winnable game.

UCLA will be ranked next week considering they only have 3 losses and just beat a Top 10 team.

Maybe you missed his almost 20 assists and 20ish points.

He's not all that overhyped.

He is overhyped. He hasn't grown much since his freshman year.. still makes all the same bs mistakes that people used to say he'd grow out of.

19 assists is great, but then he made as many turnovers as the entire other team combined.. and took bad shots when he should really never be shooting, especially that last shot with 6 secs left. retarded.

Turnovers at key points were important. Phil's final 3 were awful. But shot selection, play calling and an inability to finish around the rim were key.

I get why you're playing up turnovers. But you're still an idiot.

He is who he is. He's going to have some boneheaded plays because he takes risks. Sometimes that means turnovers. He creates more positive plays then he does negative though.

I think if you're going to be in the business of pointing fingers over this loss you can question why Haith left Oriakhi out for so long and how you could go full tard around the basket in OT (i.e. missed wide open layup, one possession with at least 3-4 close looks but no points and taking a ton of time off the clock).

All losses are horrible. This one may not be as horrible in the sense that UCLA is a decent team. On the other hand it was horrible because we absolutely couldn't handle the pressure down the stretch.

Wasnt able to watch the game, but these are the kinds of games and environments this team needs to get better. This loss will serve Mizzou well going into conference games.

It's basketball. It's not lose a game and lose your shot at the tournament.

UCLA hit a ton of shots tonight. And it wasn't all bad defense by us. It did suck how we finished (or didn't). But it's playing on the road in the NCAA. We'll lose a couple more like this this year.

I hear what you're saying Belle about Pressey. My only point is you have to approach taking care of the ball a little differently when you're up 8 or whatever with just minutes left. I have learned to deal with the forced passes and turnovers during the flow of the game. Late though? Take care of the damn ball.

Trust me. I don't expect to win every game. We will lose games no doubt. Still doesn't change the fact that all losses are horrible, especially ones you hand to your opponent.

That's why you never leave it in the hands of the Officials. Didn't Mizzou have a 9-10pt lead with like 4min left??

I'm sorry, gotta call it like I see it but the reason they were on the bench in the first place was they were in foul trouble from the first half the ticky tack fouls those refs were calling. Even one of the commentators was calling this out in the first half, it was that glaringly obvious. Mizzou couldn't even play around the fouls, laying a ball down on the court and you get a technical? Common.

I don't normaly like to use refs as an excuse, but in this case, they guided this game into UCLA's hands. Including the most obvious fould in the game that was commited on Pressey. That was a flagrant foul. He should have been at the line shooting free throws.

HOW THE frick DO YOU EXPLAIN UCLA ONLY HAVING 2....TWO FOULS CALLED AGAINST THEM IN 19.5 MINUTES!!!! IF YOU WATCHED HOW PHYSICAL THAT GAME WAS, THERE IS ZERO MOTHERfrickING WAY THAT THEY ONLY FOULED US TWICE
