WRT thinks the QB has to tickle the center's NUTTS to be effective.

It really is killing you?

Everything you've wanted to believe to be true for so long is slowly blowing up in front of you.

He has the best offense in the league right now.

Nah, that would be Florida. And Bama's O is actually much more talented.

We are not too shabby however.

Don't say that yet......I am not ready to say we are the best, but I am also not ready to give those frickers anything either. We put up 1,100 yds in 2 games......that's impressive against ANYONE you play. I didn't see Bama doing that with their 5 stars.

The last thing we need is for our fans to think we are hot shite because we beat La Tech and Mississippi State. Our first loss will bring a lot of people crashing down from cloud 9.

However, how can you not love these first performances after all the preseason hype of the inevitable Auburn suckage.

From the Auburn Radio Network:

Gus told Kodi they were going to the TE out of the Wildcat the next time in the red zone.

Gus said....."It's going to wide open for a touchdown I promise......So, take your time".

It was.

I don't have a problem thinking our offense is hot shite...it IS hot shite right now...compared to what I have seen from other teams this year in terms of creativity, pace, and effectiveness, as well as compared to our nightmare of 2008. Tech and State are Top 50 programs, much better tests than teams like Furman that we'll see later this year.

Not me.

I predicted 6 or 7 wins, but I do hope they can prove me wrong.

Eh, maybe you're right.

I just always follow the "It's not always as bad as you think it is, and it's not always as good as you think it is" mantra.

I'm tired of feeling shitty. Last year was gut-wrenching. I remember watching our game against UT in 2004 and seeing an offensive performance like I hadn't seen in AU since Craig. And I felt the same way in most of the remaining games that year. Haven't felt that confidence in an AU offense since then until tonight. Every time we get the ball, it's nice to be thinking "Holy crap - what are we going to run next?" instead of like last year when I was thinking "Holy crap, I already know what we're going to run next."

How soon does auburn play a proven defense? I haven't checked their schedule.

Btw. if you put up 700 yards of offense but still lose 35 to 70 well...

Last year

1st Down - Ben Tate up the middle for three yards
2nd Down - Ben Tate/Brad Lester to the outside for a loss of one
3rd Down - Kodi Burns either A) Passes for an incompletion or B) Runs the ball himself for two yards

Like fricking clockwork. Mix in a few Lester fumbles and you have our 2008 offense.
