I want a few of the ties that they wore. The ones that are solid colors with a little design. Can’t find them anywhere.

Mad Men is just the greatest. I rewatch it fairly regularly.
On S5 right now.

They also didn't disclose the number of shares so thinking maybe that number is high as well.
I did a little googling and found an old listing. Looks like it’s about 25 shares on 3100 acres.

It was Swamp Donkey -- the pay to hunt place -- not Togo that got busted. The Togo guys don't bait. So some of them were a bit worn out with the idea that their neighbor did so very aggressively.
It’s pretty obvious how shady that whole operation looks.
I heard there was some shady things going on at Togo the first few years it was a share camp though. I think they were kind of desperate to sell shares during the run of high water years. I heard they were baiting, and had a couple of high fences up to get what deer they had to funnel to the right spots to try to get some bucks on the ground to get some shares sold.
Also heard they had terrible trouble with trespassers coming in off the river.

Present. Might drop this thing out a deer stand tomorrow and perfectly strike a rock and shatter it to shite, but I’m on like a 10 year run of not cracking a screen with no case.

Liberty Mutual for a retail business
Winchester for some mixed use real estate
State Farm for some other mixed use real estate
Was shocked that State Farm was cheapest in that particular case.

If that was him engineering something, God I hope they don’t let him build any bridges.

Broken Femur
The actual break didn’t really hurt. It just felt like jello and I was severely concussed and in shock. After a couple hours though, they had to drill through my leg to put it in traction and my leg wasn’t completely deadened yet where they drilled. I call the guy running the drill every name in the book.
Also, the recovery from a broken femur is painful as shite the first month or so.
Finally, my femur didn’t fuse back together, so they had to do a second surgery to install a bigger rod. The first 3-4 days after that surgery were worse than the first couple days after the first one.
All that being said, kidney stones gave the broken femur a run. At least with the broken bones, I could sit still and be alright. With kidney stones, it was a constant dull ache with unexpected sharp pains.

I don’t think it’s wrong. Read on Twitter they were supposed to go to Florida for some event with Cletus McFarland. Looks like they turned around pretty quickly after takeoff and crash landed with a full tank of fuel. Not good.

^^^ This is what the old guard at Togo understood that the FU Money crowd did not, or didn’t care.
They managed what they could manage, but weren’t going to spend a stupid amount of money with an uncertain return.
The place starts taking on water when Vicksburg is at like 22’. The hunting is electric when it’s at 25’. It’s inaccessible and there’s not a deer on the island at like 30’ or something. These numbers aren’t exact, been a minute since I kept up with that, but kind of puts it into perspective. The place low ground.

Those hardwoods right along the river banks were just beautiful. Parking a Bronco as the sun comes up and jumping in a ladder stand to be able to see 150-200 yards through those open woods as the horse riders were moving through…. Just an elite way to spend a Saturday morning.

True…. But still. We really supposed to believe ol boy left after breakfast and made it from Midland to Corpus like mid afternoon in that hunk of shite he’s riding in?
And they’re just making trips from Midland to Amarillo and Fort Worth on the daily.
Also, the Michelob is so out of control, even the Mexicans are drinking it. The Mexicans that work for me drink Modelo and Miller Lite exclusively.

Wouldn’t surprise me. That whole situation has been mismanaged since it became a share club.
The River wasn’t their friend the first 5-6 years of ownership either, but it wouldn’t have mattered. They tried to turn a cottonwood plantation into a historic river camp overnight.
I haven’t heard much about it since the people I knew got out, but I doubt it’s changed much.
Speaking more specifically about Togo and Karnac, not Swamp Donkey.
Swamp Donkey looks more shady than mismanaged.
