I am 38. The OJ Simpson bronco chase was the earliest news event I recall.

Same age and same event.

I guess it’s the pervert in me, I’ve always wondered how they masturbate comfortably. The thought of cleaning their shite holes never dawned on me.
Up 20%. BCBS.

I'm not going to pretend like I know how to fix it, but it seems insane that there's very little interest in doing anything about it. It's destroying the middle class.

If premiums were reduced by 50%, almost all of the other 50% would go straight to infusing the economy. Instead, we're just paying 20 grand a year to make sure we don't have to pay 50 grand if somebody steps in a hole the wrong way.

I have the same issue. I'd rather hit a 3 wood to have a 125 yard full PW, than hit a driver and have a 75-100 yard carry with a higher lofted wedge.

Honestly, if I have 100 yards and a clear path, I'd rather hit a low 3/4 PW and run it up onto the green.

When I try to put the ball back in my stance, I feel like I thin it too often and when I try to concentrate on keeping my head down, hitting down on the ball, forward shaft lean, it gets chunky.

Here for the tips, too!

Also, I became dads POA and trustee and he still give me a hard time.

Had to get two MDs to give a letter of incompetence dx to have control of his bank.

I can send you some good info on some steps you should take.

Hire a money manager if you’re busy.

Start keeping receipts so you can show him his bad decisions. My dad bought gold after watching one too many William Devaney commercials. He found out that he lost over half of what he paid for gold. Have the receipts ready and show them off if he is going to forget them anyway. One day he may break down.

Also. I’m sorry you are going thru this. Mine saw memory issues at 79. He’s got health heart and lungs so he’s going to go for a while. 66 may give you 20 years more if this.

All of this. You and your brother need to be on the same page about it too.

Dealing with family money can be messy business. It will be a nightmare if the siblings aren't unified.
I don’t know what they call me, but I know what I…. Nevermind.
First they took away their shorts now this? Where does the oppression end?

Name change to LXXII feels imminent.

What happened? I haven’t had a full one in years, but the ones I’ve snatched out of my daughters Halloween sack seem to be same as usual.
Baby steps man. They just quit putting an "s" on the end of his name a couple years ago.

OK Bell would have been the champion under the old Bob Latford point system that paid 175 base points to the winner, but if they used the current point setup of 40 finish points to the winner and then bonus points for stages, etc., it would have been Larson by 16 over Bell, 19 over Byron, 27 over Blaney, 84 over Elliott, 95 over Hamlin, 99 over Briscoe, 143 over Reddick, 213 over Logano and 282 over Chastain.

I’m for going back to a full-season points race but I’m not for going back to the Latford format. It didn’t prioritize winning and was set up to benefit the McDuffies, Hyltons, Arringtons, etc.

Ah, I see what you were asking. Yeah, I'm cool either way on how they reward points. I just know this dumb arse playoff system needs to be demolished and buried.

They wanted to "create multiple Game 7 moments" throughout the last 1/3 of the season, but it's been a failure. It's created a handful of hail mary/buzzer beater/walk off HR to make the playoffs moments, but it's been a disaster otherwise.
I dark mode just about everything I can, except TD.

The last I saw … and if I am wrong please correct me … Larson would have won the title under the old 36-race system, so he’s a worthy champion but his trophy was decided in an unworthy manner

C Bell would’ve won by 127 points under the Winston Cup format.

Connor Zilisch would’ve clinched the Busch Series points 2 weeks ago, I think.
Interesting race ending…. Not a legitimate way to crown a champion.
They were with a group of about 340 rescued by Grey Bull (?). The plane took 170 out last night, but they didn’t make the cut for the first flight I guess. They’re told the pilot has to sleep before coming back, so they, and the remainder of the second group, are just kind of waiting and seeing.

Agree that if somebody in America isn’t advocating for you, you’ve likely got a problem.

Did your people get out today? Ours did not. There was a miscommunication when the WiFi went down and there are still stranded there.

They’re at the Kingston airport, supposed to get on a plane tonight.

They said the bus caravan they were apart of went back to Montego Bay to get more people, and felt like the resort has been misleading them about the condition of Montego Bay. I think a lot of people remaining at the resort believe that they’ll be able to fly out of Montego Bay in the next couple days, and I don’t believe that’s a sure thing.
Took her to Boure' in Oxford and we went back to her apartment and streamed Love Actually. Didn't bang. She held out another couple dates. Been together 11 years now.
Family of 3.

We average $800/month groceries & about $900month "eating out". Eating out = sit down restaurants + running through a drive thru/take out.

Now, that eating out average is exactly that, an average. It was like $1200 in January because we're out of town a lot, or looks like it's been as low as $500 when we're both home all month.

$500 still feels like too much. But, even just running through somewhere and getting breakfast on the go or just grabbing a pizza, take out hibachi, etc. adds up quick. Like if either me or my wife eat out at lunch and then we order out once a week, you're there. It spikes when you take the family to go sit down somewhere and eat. I do believe that you've gotta take your family out now and then. It's apart of teaching a kid how to grow up.

I feel like if we really minded out p's & q's on eating out, and then bought what we wanted to buy at the grocery, we'd be somewhere around $1200/mo pretty easily on the groceries.
