It always amazes me that LSU Rantards keep bringing that episode up. Florida's AD bent LSU's over the back of the casting couch. And, then, after running their yaps all week leading up to the game IN BATON ROUGE, LSU chokes the game away.
If they had a shred of self-awareness, LSU fans would never mention that game again. Instead, they invoke it like a point of honor.

16-10 needs to be tattooed on every kittens butt cheeks to remind them of how damn stupid they were. Called us pussy and yada yada and dire predictions of doom when it got scheduled for red stick...along the tune of 38-0 etc etc.
We went up to red stick and cold cox your butts. We even had 3 starters out on defense and kept you out of the end zone time and again. Do you remember that vicious hit on Eitling at the 1 yd line by our true frosh LBer Vosean Joseph ? I member. Or the 99 yd bomb to Cleveland that shut down your crowd noise? I member.
