Yeah, funny how she kept throwing wild balls two innings after the rain had stopped.
Also, funny that their Miss Personality of a coach didn't have a problem with the top of the 4th inning when J-Train was having to pitch in the rain.

Miss Personality said the weather didn't bother them in the least, they'd "play even if it were snowing."
It was a good game that could have gone either way. Bama just had the mental edge during and after the rain, and that's all that matters.
Our girls cleared the dugout and cheered the fans on and danced in the rain, pumping up the crowd while the OU coach plead for the game to be postponed. The announcers even said "the Bama team is out there welcoming the rain". I think it got in the heads of the OU players when the game resumed. Mental toughness means a lot.

Congrats on the Softball NC as the 1st in SEC history as it's been wicked west every year (UCLA & AZ St mostly) since the 80's. We were right on your coattails with our superior batting averages in the World Series, well, at least turned some heads with a good conference showing as we were proud of our lady tigers.

Why the hell would ITAT AU fans/posters stay up til after midnight watching Alabama's softball team play ball?
Then, have the nerve to start a thread on a AU message board about not only the game, but bashing the only SEC softball team that has EVER won a national championship for our conference.

I would not put down track and field. I just don't think that I'd get to watch much of that on TV. Is'nt track and field, except for the relay race, more of an individual thing than a team sport?
I'm not bragging on the ladies from last night, because I had nothing to do with their win, but I truly wanted them to win, because it meant so much to them, and they had worked so hard. I would have been so disappointed for them(not of them) if they had lost. I think their attitude while in OK these past 10 days has represented our school well.

Cassie put a damn shoulder into the chick and stood her ground. I'm sure it was the rain that made the Okie runner inadvertently cut inside to try to get to 1st.
