If the sec just goes 4-0 in these games i genuinely think it shuts up basically every "SEC is overrated" take going into the season.
There is always going to be those with the "SEC is overrated" talk. It generates clicks and gives everyone else someone to hate. It will never completely go away.

These 4 non-conf games matter more than almost anything else on the schedule this year imo
Texas vs Ohio State
Oklahoma @ Michigan
Alabama vs Florida State
LSU vs Clemson

I would add Louisville vs. Ole Miss

So you guys really still believe that people are worrying about the SEC or how great they are or aren’t? You guys are just funny. The SEC is what it is - a good conference with some good teams, mid teams, and bad teams. Just because you fill huge stadiums doesn’t make it any more than that. Sure, your games get over the top publicity because of ESPN, but no one is scared anymore.
I love SEC football because this is where I grew up and have lived most of my life but the shine is way off. There is no Spurrier or Bear or undefeated teams. There are no NFL defenses like Bama and UGA recently had. Where are the Heisman front runners? Not in the SEC right now.
