That's a lot of Dodge Chargers

I’d consider a Charger an insult if I’m a 5-star and the coach owns a Mercedes dealership.

Give me an E350 and it’s a done deal.

If we're being honest they are taking a bunch of white dudes the recruiting services never really see much who are just pure football players probably

I remember when the Saints drafted Ram in the first and fans were pissed because we’d never heard of him. Now he’s a top-3 player on the team and arguably the top RT in the NFL.

The recruiting services seem to me to be more regionally focused than anything.

Wisconsin with the 5 star coaching staff.

Wiscy benefits from the luxury of playing slow footed Big10 Teams, they are just waiting to get exposed by more Athletic up tempo pass first teams with fast-twitch Athletes on Defense

A few years back Wiscy had a team that lost to Ohio State in the Big10 CG 59-0, they're headed for a loss sooner rather than later, Wiscy will always be a fraud

Very true, but let's be honest, the Big 10 is shite and that helps a lot lol.

Wisconsin only has 2 4-star players on their entire defense and are currently the top defense in advance metrics.

That's nuts. Some really top notch coaching there.

It's two things:

1. coaching/talent development

2. talent evaluation at the high school level

They always seem to get guys that no other big schools are going hard after and they turn out to be studs. As you said, it is often white guys that are just great all around football players.

What they do up there is truly impressive.

Surprised Notre dame has more elite talent than auburn and Florida
Surprised Bama can look that bad on defense and have more talent than anyone in the nation. OM probably has 5 and Duke may have 1.

I mean the bottom half of the SEC is pretty garbage right now, the gap isn't as much as people make it to be. I will say playing on the "other" side of the Big Ten for Wisconsin is very beneficial, but we're not into conference play much yet at all really. They still play Ohio state, Michigan state and Michigan this year from the other side of the Big Ten, so not a very easy draw for them from the East.

So, what's that say about Arkansas?

Arkansas is (1-6-1) against Big_10

Average score: Arkansas 17.9 - Big 10 28.9

In bowl games: Arkansas is (0-4) against Big_10

Average score: Arkansas 21.3 - Big 10 30.5

They also have a very good reputation of turning out offensive lineman. Guys want to play there.

Yeah people need to stop pretending the SEC is so super deep beyond the top teams.

Arkansas lost to San Jose St and beat an FCS team by a TD.
Ole Miss lost to Memphis
Missouri lost to Wyoming
Mississippi State lost to Kansas State
Vandy got blown out by Purdue and barely beat Northern Illinois
South Carolina lost to UNC
Tennessee lost to Georgia freaking State and BYU

The bottom half of the SEC, folks

A few years ago, the bottom half was better than it is now.
