Fournettes was much better against that A&M defender
Guessing this is a dig at A&M, but I would say LF in his one good game against Auburn was better

I know thats a famous play for running over bill bates and all and it was a great play but there have been so many more violent looking ones since then, i wonder why that one has stood the test of time. Leonard Fournette had some great ones against Auburn and A&M just a few years ago.

Nah, watch the video in my edited post
It’s basically the same exact mirror if Walkers run

I like Ronnie Brown's vs UT 1st rounder Jason Allen better
At least Bates and Allen took it like men instead of that fig for Auburn in '15 that paused and let Fournette go by him and then jumped on his back.

I think Herschel was such a big deal because he was a really hyped up Freshman, and that was one of his first ever carriers.

You would think that. Jason Allen got Brown to the ground. Jason Allen is a cornee back.
Bill Bates died. Bill Bates was a safety. And an all pro in the nfl.
There is no way that those should ever be compared side by side.

If Fournette can survive, so could Battle.

Bill Bates was a safety, not a linebacker.

Brown hit him hard enough to pop his helmet off

Herschel and LF aren't bad but Earl was doing things way before them. FF to the 1:05 mark.

He was a cornerback for his first 3 seasons.
I show he moved to safety after the Tennessee game (after that hit).
Either way, he gives 15 pounds to Bill Bates.
