We've done these threads numerous times, I'm not gonna type out my list for everyone again.
Kentucky - South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Alabama for South Carolina?
I'ld be fine with that.

UGA - playing AU, UF, and USC every year. Doesn’t mean UF plays AU and USC every year.
That means UForfeit still plays some other same three teams every year. They're locked in with them. So the teams UGA plays don't all play each other, but those teams each will be "locked in" to playing some other teams. It's still restrictive in the same sense.

You actually would lose more traditional rivalries a pod system.
Posted on 5/24/22 at 6:16 am to RoscoeHarper
I think OU and Ark should be permanent rivals. They are each other’s closest SEC team.

It’s what it will be; it just makes the most sense. I can see how fans may want other ideas, because of their personal preferences.
The SEC office and it’s presidents , and ADs, and ESPN, are looking at it from a better angle.
The 3 / 6 gives you so many more advantages..
You will be able to keep alot of the traditional rivalries, not the ones that have become annual games the last 20 years; those aren’t traditional rivalries. Once OU and Texas are here , 9 games will give an additional 8 games of inventory. You can assure a player who plays 4 years will bust and play every school in the conference. ( Outside of UGA-UF and UT-OU).
My best guess..
BAMA - AU, UT, LSU
ARK - USC, MIZZ, TEXAS
AU - BAMA, UGA, UF
UF - UGA, AU, UK
UGA - UF, AU, USC
UK - UT, UF, VU
LSU - A&M, BAMA, OM
OM - LSU, MSU, VU
MSU - OM, USC, OU
MIZZ - ARK, OU, TEXAS
OU - TEXAS, MIZZ, MSU
USC - ARK, UGA, MSU
UT - BAMA, UK, VU
TEXAS - OU, A&M, MIZZ
A&M - LSU, TE XAS, ARK
VU - UT, UK, OM

NOT necessarily. My format would keep ALL rivalries yearly.
Posted on 5/24/22 at 6:41 am to 3rddownonthe8
Doesn't make the most sense. Numerous posts/threads on this site alone point that out.

Auburn is the closest SEC team to UF and we've played each other 85 times. It's retarded if we wouldn't be playing them annually.

I want whatever schedule model still allows LSU to play the following each year plus Texas.
Bama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M, State, Auburn, Florida.
Don’t care to play OU every year but if we have to drop Auburn for OU I wouldn’t be upset.

“The posts in this site”!
Lol
People keep posting they want the pods, to some how speak it into reality… to be correct.
When Multiple times since January Sankey has for the most part rules pods as an idea, but not really close to the favorite.

You're Texas 8&Forefeit before they were a thing. The likes of you and Benedict Arnold should not be forgotten. I'm sorry you have to project your yellow belly mediocrity.

fricking playing at Cowbell land. Those goddamn things annoy me even when watching the game on TV.

I would probably tweak it like this:
BBAMA - AU, UT, LSU
ARK - OU, MIZZ, A&M
AU - BAMA, UGA, UF
UF - UGA, AU, UK
UGA - UF, AU, USC
UK - UT, UF, USC
LSU - A&M, BAMA, OM
OM - LSU, MSU, VU
MSU - OM, USC, VU
MIZZ - ARK, OU, TEXAS
OU - TEXAS, MIZZ, ARK
USC - UGA, MSU, UK
UT - BAMA, UK, VU
TEXAS - OU, A&M, MIZZ
A&M - LSU, TEXAS, ARK
VU - UT, OM, MSU
Oklahoma and MSU doesn't make much sense, nor does USC Arkansas (other than the fact they joined the same year). Flipped around to make the games a little more regional and with at least some history.

How does AM get Ark every year as a permanent but Ark doesn’t get them as a permanent?

Seems to me that the fans of OU, Texas, Arkansas, and A&M generally like the 3 & 6 proposal because they only have around 3 SEC opponents they really care about playing.
you still play the rest of the teams every other year

Look, I hate State as much as anyone, but you can't just stick them with OU and South Carolina, teams they have no history with. State is the most-played opponent for both Alabama and LSU.

I absolutely hate the 3/rotate six model. I vastly prefer two eight-team divisions, but even pods are preferable to losing so many annual rivalries.
This is the exact way to preserve the traditional rivalries. In a 4 team POD, you can't. If Auburn is in a POD with Alabama and TENN is in that POD, "UGA" will not be in that POD because Florida and UGA will be in a POD. But in that situation, UGA/Auburn is lost.
3 Team Permanent teams and a 6 teams in years 1 and 2, then rotate the next 6 years 3 and 4, then back to years 1 and 2, etc. allows to keep all the traditional rival games (if teams want to keep them).
Alabama would have Auburn, TENN and somebody
UGA would have Auburn, Florida and somebody
Texas would have Texas A&M and Arkansas.
Now the SI model does not have Aggie and the Horns, so maybe Aggie is saying they don't want to get paired with Texas to sort of show they made their own path without their big brother in the SEC.
Arkansas would get Texas, Mizzou and Texas A&M
LSU would get Texas A&M, Ole Miss and somebody
Ole Miss would get Miss. State
