I'm not buying the hype of either team, but I'm lol at the Oregon ranking.

SO what if they have had the #1 class in the PAC 12 for 3 years straight? It's the PAC12

Will this game be even close?

If our QB(s) come to play I could see a blowout. I really want to see what Joey Gatewood can do.

Oregon has a great QB who might be top QB next draft versus a starting freshman QB. On paper, Oregon looks pretty good.

Auburn is for real in an SEC fashion. Oregon is one of those PAC10 western frauds although they are a good one and have one of Saban's ex-Bama assistants running the show in Mario Christobal and he is for real as a coach and cut throat recruiter. So they've got more grit than you normal club out there but AU will beat them down and sand their peters in the second half.

Put your money down then. You can get the Ducks and points. AU will open up some down home whoop arse on them late. Or maybe even early second half.

Oregon has the better QB plus experience.

Auburn doesn’t. I don’t see them blowing out Oregon

Auburn is underrated coming into this season IMO. If they get their offense clicking under one of their two dual-threat QB options, they could be a very dangerous team.

The Oregon game is the first game, so I guess anything could happen. But at this point I think Auburn wins this game going away.

That's just the thing. You never know what is going to happen coming out of the blocks. Gus' teams never come out looking impressive, even the good ones. The good ones improve over the course of the season.

I was looking for that stat and you beat me to it. Herman doesn't know WTF he's talking about, as usual.

The more realistic outcome for Gus in an early season game isn't necessarily a loss, it's that we may come out and look like the far better team for a half only to let that QB get extremely hot in the second and have to hang on for a cardiac arrest-inducing win as Gus goes pure vanilla.
