Since 2010, in odd numbered years Lane Kiffin has had regular season records of:

10-2
3-2
9-3 conference champion
9-3 conference champion
10-2
10-2
11-1

4 10+ win seasons, 2 conference titles, and only 1 partial year with fewer than 9 wins.

Conversely in even numbered years his records are:

8-5
7-5
5-7
4-5
8-4
9-3

Only 1 season with 9 wins and 2 sub .500 records.

Bottom line: if LSU fans can be patient through 2026, success is just around the corner in 2027

Usually it takes a year or two to fix stuff for most collegecoaches..so that is fair.

If you had to bet your life savings on one of these, which would you put your money on:

1. LSU makes the playoffs and Lane stays focused all season.

2. Lane leaks out NFL rumors come late October which distracts and derails LSU’s season.

Probably the first.

There were LSU/Florida rumors last year from October onward and it didn't derail the season.

Pretty sure the Natty is in New Orleans for the 2027 season as well, so the stars definitely align for that being our year.

Thanks for your opinion, means a lot to us. UF definitely knows how to replace coaches.
