Florida is for real at 20 for first time HC. They got Missouri right at 29. Ole Miss is ranked pretty high for a first year HC at 12.
Once again, teams will be evaluated in the following categories:
Quarterback situation
Offensive line/defensive line outlook
Roster management
Star power (All-Americans, national award contenders, all-conference contenders)
Coaching staff
Here's a look at how every Power 4 team stacks up through the 2027 season in the Future Power Rankings model:

I am upset because Drinkwitz still can't elevate the team to a top 15. Only 1 time then the bottom fell out.

18 seems fair for Tennessee. Not sure what Alabama has over Tennessee to warrant being 8 spots ahead of us. Both are going to be breaking in first-year QBs on otherwise talented rosters. The only difference between them is that the core coaching staff at Bama is the same, while Tennessee will be breaking in a new DC, granted our new DC is one of the most highly respected ones in college football, so not sure how that's a penalty

61 for Arkansas may be overly generous. Or it might be the team is greatly improved this year. The problem is that with our schedule this year we could really show strong signs of improvement and still finish with a terrible record.

Ok state, winless last year, ranked higher than Auburn???
FSU at 50, sucks to be a Nole fan these days.
ND at 1 and Uterus at 3 gets clicks, I guess.

through the 2027 season
this is just totally dumb in today's environment since a team's roster could be practically brand spanking new from one year to the next.

#29 is pathetic.
That is why I'm picking Missouri to go 6-6 or 5-7 this season.

I am picking Alabama to end up ranking higher than Tennessee this season.

Ole Miss below LSU and Alabama LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO
Literally better at every position group and a head coach with as many playoff wins than both combined.

What? I thought that was Pete Gelding.

LSU at #8
“Kiffin and an ambitious portal push that produced ESPN's No. 1 portal class. According to ESPN Recruiting, LSU added 13 blue-chip transfers, nearly double the amount of the next closest teams (Texas and Ole Miss with seven”).
