Definitely an asterisk game

You're missing the fact that the batter had both feet out of the box, so there was no pitch.
Either way, spin it how you want.
Ball don't lie
We fixed it two batters later.

Y’all sure are worked up over a meaningless game.

For someone who’s usually pretty even keeled you’re having a tough time today

Not until after the catcher had already moved over the plate.

LSU fans seem to be saying the batter should have swung and taken their catcher out. Then it would have clearly been a case of catcher interference. This is a teachable moment. If the catcher gets over the plate, swing away.

Winning this game means nothing for either team. LSU and South Carolina are locked as 2 seeds. Whoever wins is not winning tomorrow. We’ll take the extra day of rest going into regionals.
Yes I agree with you. This game means nothing no matter who wins. Enjoy that extra day of rest Carolina

The fact is the lsu catcher did not cross the plate nor touch the plate. It’s not interference at that point unless the batter swings and hits him

It was a suicide squeeze with 2 outs and 2 strikes. Batter didn’t want to be in there. Certainly not gonna swing or bunt.

His right foot was slightly in front of the plate. His foot was actually in the field of play when he received the pitch.
It doesn’t matter, LSU won. But so many people losing their minds over it is great entertainment.

That angle is hilarious. Is foot was roughly half a foot from the front of the plate

Explain why a side angle is hilarious. It was the clearest view of what happened.

Also, do you think the catcher is allowed to set up over the plate?
Moral of the story is the batter should have taken a homerun cut.

They showed a clear as day over the top angle. He was not in front of nor on the plate

I’m sure umpires will pore over this sequence and use it as a teaching tool..
Nah, who am I kidding..

Explain that side angle then. He caught the ball before it even got to the plate and his body was clearly and unequivocally over home plate. It isn’t even up for discussion. It is clear as day. You may need to wipe your purple glasses.

Tenn 1st baseman falls into dugout. Christian Moore runs into the dugout to make sure he's okay.
Vandy fan in 1st row: "Hey! You can't park there...Get out! You can't park there!"

The fake ball 4 “clock violation” gave LLSU the game. Weak
The one call they got right and was obvious. The pitcher has to throw the ball before the clock hits 0:00. How hard is that to understand?

It's so true.
Watch the sequence and come to a conclusion. You either come out bold with "correct call," say that there should have been no reason to huddle up and change an outcome for an obvious end to inning," or delve into all of it so the entire conference has a precedence to base their gameplay on
But there's going to be nothing. Just a sweep under the rug
