I don't think it is easy to overhead clap that fast. Also why is everyone stealing the Icelanders clap? Cultural appropriation.

What is this new obsession with 'exit velocity?' Who gaf if it comes off the bat at 102.77 vs 104.99? It's where the damn ball ends up!

FSU just too much for UNC. Oh well, it would've been funny as shite if their season ended before ours.

Well, frick. I won’t be able to watch the first two games.

You can't dictate the exit velocity either. Depends on prob two dozen variables.
Just another stupid 'stat' to obsess over

It means you knocked the shite out of the ball. And since the beginning of time, coaches have mainly preached to hit it hard. Then it goes where it goes
So it is very useful info
In a single at bat it not mean much, but it will show value over the long haul

Radar, NWS SPC, Reed Timmer mashup-
Squall line hits 5:45, goes to 8:15.
So 8:30?

Florida or Kentucky having to play 2 games tomorrow is brutal

There is a direct correlation between how hard you hit it and how often its a hit, extra-base hit, and home run.

Yup. You can ask a reliever to pitch back-to-back days. I am not sure anyone should ask a reliever to throw at 12pm then again at 8pm.
