Fair enough. Think if he doesn't have that injury he likely at least ends up on All-Defensive team.

I'm pretty livid over this one. You can't convince me that other than Broome, there is any player at his position in this conference as valuable to their team given his role in Pope's offense as a Point Forward/Center. He's just behind Broome at #2 in Rebounds Per Game (8.7), #11 in Blocks Per Game, #16 in Assists Per Game (wild for a big man).

Florida landed a guy 1st and 3rd Team. That's it. No recognition of Thomas Haugh for 6th Man. UF had 2nd best D in SEC league play, and its best defender left off the all defensive team. Some interesting stuff in there.

When you realize there are 16 teams, and 15 spots, this hardly seems like an injustice

Alabama had 1 guy on all 3 combined.

It's a huge league with a ton of great players.

Granted, guess a bit more shocked to not see Martin on the Defensive Team. Or Haugh pick up 6th Man of the Year recognition.

Certainly a lot of talent in this league.

Look at Alijah Martin’s advanced defensive stats and compare it to the guys who made first team all defense.

Absolute joke.

I guess they wanted a second Auburn guy on there, but this one is puzzling.

He's actually a pretty damn good player when he doesn't go full retard. Unfortunately, full retard is apparently his favorite of the multiple personalities as well.

No Ags on the defensive team is questionable. It's one of the only things we do pretty well! Especially Garcia.

Who amongst this list is leaning on or required to leave?

Well done!

Mark Sears, Alabama
Zakai Zeigler, Tennessee

I agree with this for the most part. You seem to know a little bit more about the numbers than I would. The only surprise to me was I thought Chaz would be a first team All Sec.

He's been better the 2nd half of SEC play but he was pretty bad the first half of conference play. He was obviously electric in the non-conference, but his first month in SEC play was rough.

Overall in SEC play he shot 49% from 2 and 37% from 3. Of 75 guys who played 50%+ minutes and had a usage rate of 15%+ he was 50th in offensive rating and 36th in eFG%.

He can do some stuff off the dribble but his main value is a spot up 3 point shooter at volume. He was really good the last 5 games or so.
