Gonna take quite the season to top 2010 West or 2011 SEC West.

2011 Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas were 1, 2, & 3 heading into the final week of the regular season.

2010 Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, and LSU were real damn strong.

It’ll be up there. Most, if not all, will have pretty solid teams. Except maybe Auburn.

2010. State was fifth out of six teams and finished 15th in the final poll and beat the ever living shite out of Michigan in a bowl game.

2010:
Alabama: Defending Champs and four of their RBs end up going to the NFL
Arkansas: Sugar Bowl appearance
Auburn: National Champs
LSU: wins the Super Bowl

I think this is an illusion, Josh Pate was talking about it the other day, specifically about no SEC coach being on the hot seat.

However, two or three teams absolutely could stink up the joint in 2022 and start the road to decline.

Right now though, pretty much everyone feels optimistic.

2010 was stronger overall, but 2011's 1-2-3 punch is absurd.

Hard to see Arkansas going anything but undefeated in any other division. MAYBE Stanford and Okie State manage to beat them, but that's it.

Surprised 2014 hasn’t been brought up. Less top heavy but more depth.

I don’t think 2022 tops the seasons named so far. I do think the division is going to be insane again this year though.

In order to be a good division it needs more parity. Alabama is favored to win every game by double digits.

The Big10 is a joke. Your so called best haven't done shite in a long time. Head to head the SECW would beat the BIG10E 9 times out of 10.
BIG TEN EAST
1. Ohio State (34 first-place votes) 238
2. Penn State 192
3. Indiana 169
4. Michigan 144
5. Maryland 79
6. Rutgers 77.5
7. Michigan State 52.5

West
1. Alabama (177)
2. Texas A&M (3)
3. Arkansas (1)
4. Ole Miss
5. LSU
6. Mississippi State
The Penn vs aggies is about the only game you might win.

You forget State. We finished 5th in the west in 2010 at 9-4 ranked 15th. Lost to national champion Auburn by 3 and to Arkansas in OT

LSU is in rebuilding mode with new coach. A&M likely worse than last year when it went 8-5. Ole Miss breaking in new QB. MSU is OK. Arkansas solid but nothing special. Auburn is way down from the past. Other than Bama, this might be the weakest SEC West in some time.

I only see one sure Top 10 team (Bama) and one potential (A&M).

Seems like premature adulation.

2010: Meh, not a good example.
Alabama: Defending Champs and four of their RBs end up going to the NFL ( Alabama sucked that season. Sabans last "bad" team)

Arkansas: Sugar Bowl appearance- Arkie was ok but ost that crappy bama team.

Auburn: National Champs- Granted-Only great team in the division.

LSU: wins the Super Bowl
- Not sure what this means unless you are talking about the Bama game.

2010 may have been one of the weaker years for the west honestly.
