A certain VOL poster has been off his game if there wasn't a thread on this yet

Hey Georgia you want to switch our baseball, basketball and football recruiting? We do pretty good in basketball recruiting and kill it in baseball, so we can just switch all 3 straight up, deal?

Yes but they will also be enrolling the top ranked freshman in the SEC in Burns unless I’m missing someone on that list.

Usual suspects, Arky, Vandy, LSU, and Florida with 5-8 in the top 100 and everyone else not doing too bad as well. That’s why SEC baseball is so much fun to watch.

I'm assuming Burns was getting word he was going to slip out of the 1st round and his asking price was higher than whoever was going to offer. As recently as last week he was in a "wait and see approach" with the draft. Kinda surprising he slipped given how hard he throws at 18 years old. Big get for the Vols.

With our stadium and facilities I don’t know why we don’t get more top 250 guys

This is the season that will likely lead to Bianco getting pushed out. We're very likely going to be very bad.

We should be doing better getting more top 250 commits

Most of these kids committed 2-3 years ago. That piece of hardware we won this sumner will help recruiting moving forward. Plus State always brings in good Mississippi kids who aren’t ranked overly high from HS and jucos. Like Hootie, Hancock, Mule, Johnson etc

I call BS on this. Kids sign with schools to win national championships and play for the best fans and have the best facilities. The same way that Kentucky basketball and Alabama football find kids from LA Houston Philly etc they want to win Natty’s and get drafted.

Thanks for putting this together. I’m pleasantly shocked at how well Vandy seems to have made it through.

Along with getting the guys through that were expected Keegan, Thomas and Maladano are basically locks to return as well.

Anything less than Omaha and competing for the NC again will be a big let down with the roster where it will be next year.

Replacing 2 once in a generation starters is going to be pretty tough.

Been several once in a generation talents on the mound at VU last 15ish years…

There will be some bumps in the road of course but VU was in reality a very young lineup last season and will return 10/12 top bats. Bullpen dealt with tons of injuries last season and will have tremendous depth.

By the end of the season there’s no reason it shouldn’t all come together to be a contender.

Geez Florida got crushed in the draft. Still a great class, but nowhere what it could have been.

Good luck with finding 3 new weekend starters.

As those guys rose in the draft boards, there is nothing you can do but tip your cap to them.

Have big hope for these 3 lefties.

(#33) LHP Jac Caglianone
(#50) LHP Pierce Coppola
(#67) LHP Philip Abner

Okay - then what is the reason, then? Is Lemonis just a poor recruiter? (I don't think so)

If that's the case UGA would be a dominant team every year and MSU and Arkansas would be also fans.

I like Missouri’s class. Got good players just not good enough to be drafted in the early rounds. The sweet spot.
