Your fans are doing the same thing by making every off season about 2019.

It matters to LSU fans and few others care.

2019 LSU is #2 in the F+ rankings....for the same season. Meaning, they aren't even considered the best team in 2019.

Again, the reason is because they have a horrible defense, coming in at #14.

Correct. So by F+ they wouldn't be the best team of 2019, if you look at only the ENTIRE season's STATISTICS. But the 2019 LSU defense was vastly improved in their last 4 games, allowing 70 points total, 17.5/game, to some outstanding teams (Georgia and Clemson in particular, as well as the potent Jalen Hurts-led Sooners). But as I judge the TEAM as it was at the end of 2019, then I consider them the best team of 2019. This is why I said you can ARGUABLY use F+ to determine the best team of the year (which I clearly disagree with).
BUT, F+ is SOLELY dependent on those statistics, and we KNOW who statistics are for...

1995 Nebraska was dominate from day 1. They were also undefeated national champions in 1994. In 1993, they went undefeated until losing to Florida St in the bowl game 18-16.

It was the 2nd year in a row Nebraska went undefeated.

Yeah, it's a season, not a 4 game end of the year season.

Besides, 95 Nebraska beat a powerhouse #2 undefeated Florida team by a larger margin in their final game. 62-24 and the game wasn't even that close.

I don't think an LSU fan made created this list, I could be wrong though

Still recovering from the terrible state Orgeron left it in.

The greatest dynasty in CFB history to losing to Vandy, getting blown out by a shitty OU, and losing a bowl game to a shitty Michigan is a big decline. I don't know how you guys convince yourself otherwise but keep it up. It's fricking hilarious.

Genuine question: If you describe Alabama as being “in decline,” then how would you describe the current state of LSU since LSU still got blown out at home by Alabama this season?

We also beat up on teams better than Alabama, like Oklahoma.

F+(a combination of SP+ and FEI) doesn't even have 2019 LSU as the #1 overall team in 2019.

Well, that destroys their credibility then.

It's a power ranking, not a season ranking. LSU this year is #13 despite your losses.

LSU barely beat teams by 3, 5 and 7 points.

They had you as the #1 offense so that was obviously correct. But your defense was #14 and I think that is also correct.

It's your defense that kills it.

Most bama fans think 2015 bama was the best team they’ve had. This 2020 bama bs is just trolling.

If it's the opinion of Grant Hughes at 247 Sports, then it MUST be true.

No, they weren't dominant from Day1. They beat Washington State in Lincoln by 14 points. A Wazzou team that finished 3-8 on the season

The 1994 season has zero input into deciding how good 1995 team was. Judge the 1995 team by 1995.

The argument, as I understand it, is who is the Greatest TEAM of all time, not who had the best season of all time. You probably know '01 Miami is considered one of the best TEAMS of all time; I think you agree with that.. That team had a 2-point win against VA Tech.in their 2nd to last game.

It certainly is not a 4-game season, but teams improve (hopefully) as the season progresses. The results of those last 4 games of '19 LSU team, considering the competition they faced and the results (avg margin of victory 30.5 pts), just like 95' Nebraska's last 6 games (avg margin of victory 34.9 pts), weigh very heavily in my opinion, though you might obviously disagree.

I still believe the '71 Huskers. '95 Huskers. '01'Canes, and '19 Tigers were the 4 best TEAMS I have ever seen play.

And FYI, I still can't decide if I think '95 Nebraska or '19 LSU was the GOAT TEAM.

To me who had the Greatest Overall Season is a different argument and perhaps why we disagree on some points.

Probably the only issue few will argue about is which team had the toughest schedule, which I would give to '19 LSU. They faced 7 Top Ten teams (at game time), including the Preseason Top 4. Their opponents Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma FINISHED the season with a combined 60-9 record, so excluding the 5 losses to LSU (by an average of 19.6 PPG), their combined record was 60-4.

Bama had 9 total draft picks in 2020, four picks in the first round.

Meanwhile, LSU 2019 has the SEC record with 14 draft picks, TEN in the first round.

Probably my favorite team as far as Saban years. I loved that teams attitude and play style.

But as far as being the "GOAT", you can't really assign that to a team that has a loss. You gotta dominate your opponents to get that title since we can't really compare teams across different years.

Brian Kelly just finished his third season at LSU, so you can’t be serious. You’ve confirmed that you’re just out trolling. That’s all we needed to see. Clearly you get your jollies from trying to “own” Bama fans.

LSU is the biggest waste of talent college in America. Constantly sending boatloads of players to the NFL yet so few titles. A program is defined by titles, not how many players they send to the NFL. It's why LSU pales in comparison to Alabama. That's what really eats y'alls tiger arse up, you know you'll never be as dominant of a program as Alabama.

But at least you have a lot of guys to watch on Sunday to make you feel better.

Did LSU not win the title when they had 10 first rounders? Calm down Nancy
