Meh, it's going from Alabama's backyard to Georgia's backyard.

Hopefully, they plan to move the entire SEC headquarters to Atlanta, and this is just the first step

If I was Sankey I would start moving everything to Destin.

REC losing control of Alabama's recruiting, ref favoritism and now they're losing media days? Holy shite! What an age this is!

Funny how some LSU fans so badly want Bama fans to melt over a move like this when frankly I would love it if they moved it out of the state. Only exception to that being if they moved it somewhere nicer and less accessible to the general public and the sidewalk yahoos like the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach or the Grand Hotel in Point Clear. I'm with you though....they should have it in Destin every year.

And nope haters, SEC baseball stadium stays in Hoover although I wish they'd move to the Barons new stadium in downtown B'ham. Fantastic ballpark in an area that's becoming really cool.

Should be noted it was announced that it would be back in Hoover for 2019 and start rotating between various SEC cities.

You can get from Auburn to Atlanta almost as quickly as you can from Athens to Atlanta.
