I don't get the LSU love to be honest. I know we return a lot, but we also return a lot that just got their dick beat into the dirt in the 3 games that matter in '15.
that returns almost all of its starters
That plays 2 of the 3 teams it lost to this season at home next season
That should be enough to bolster you into the top 10
Just a matter of if harris improves or not with a full season under his belt
of course the entire idea of a preseason poll is based on assumptions whether legitimate or not

I'm not sure what that record encompassing the past 6 years has to do with the year 2016. When will people realize this? Tennessee lost 4 games by fewer than 20 points combined, and they return basically their entire team. Looking at this year's team and only this year's team and then evaluating what they return compared to what others return as well as their 2016 schedule, yes it makes sense to rank them top 10 preseason.

what preseason hype did they fail to live up to this past year? I mean since you think past seasons matter to next season. Most people projected an 8 or 9 win regular season for Tennessee going into this year. And that's exactly where they ended up.
