That and interest rates being historically low.

why would you say you've been to a marquee match up instead of telling us who the opponent was?

if you've only been once and it was against a big time team it shouldn't be hard to remember who it was.

I'd say that game was fairly loud considering it was an 11am game.

I don't think I've ever seen a game held at that time for any school that had a crazy crowd. Its just too early for people to get up in that way.

Also, where did you sit? If you were off in the corner of that shitty East side visitors section in 149 you aren't going to get much of the noise.

Alabama will just find a way to lower the field and add another 8,000 or so.

so you were in the top corner of the endzone?

I have never sat way up there but I imagine the noise is nowhere near what it sounds like from where I sit on the West deck.

in fact, I'd go ahead and bet that all endzone nose bleeds suck compared to the average seat along the sides for noise levels.

Especially when they face a nearly open horseshoe.

that's not really a good excuse because I have sat in the upper deck of every stadium I listed (including TS on 2 occasions) and Kyle was still quieter than all of them.

You'll be amazed in the decibel difference when all endzones are enclosed. When Alabama enclosed the North Endzone prior to 2006 it made a big difference. When the South Endzone was added in 2010, it was amazing.

yes and I'm sure they were all 11am games as well.

sorry man I just dont buy it.

I was at the LSU game too and it was pretty loud most of the way considering how early it was.

It wasn't really close to being the loudest Kyle game ever but for a game that early it was solid.

Again, I seriously doubt an 11am game in the nosebleeds at LSU would be anything to write home about.

I already pointed out being the NEZ probably had something to do with his experience.

He sat up in bumblefrick for a morning game.

Of course it wasnt crazy town up there.

But sitting way up there is not like being on the field or even sitting on in the East/West stands. Its far louder down there.

Judging a stadium's noise levels off one morning game sitting way the hell up there is silly.

I sat in the top corner of the upper deck of the Auburn game,

I sat in the EZ upper deck at BDS

I sat halfway up at the end of the upper deck in fayetteville

I sat in the top corner of the swamps EZ upper deck

I sat near the top of one of the corners of Neyland

I sat in the middle of the upper deck at Davis- Wade (not as loud)

I sat near the student section at VHS (not as loud)

I've never been to UGA, UK, Vandy, or USCe, and complain all you want about morning games or open end zones, but besides the landmass schools, Kyle Field is the quietest I have ever been to. Especially in the second half.

fricking 11 am game.

It's like sitting in an entirely different stadium watching an entirely different game.

Up there it's like yelling in space. There's nothing to capture the noise. And by the time the nose below reaches you, it's a shell of its former self.

1) Get rid of the bats
2) Get more than 3 entrance/exits so I can get to my seat

Stadium fixed.

To be clear, we believe it'd be unjustifiably selfish to refuse fans from all teams and from all walks of life to share Kyle.

That'd be like Jefferson's descendants closing the gates to Monticello; like Washington's refusing admission into Mount Vernon.

Like those landmarks, new Kyle will be a national treasure. Something for us all to enjoy and admire.

This is a significant time for all college football fans. We invite you all to participate.
