The way they are rebuilding the stadium will actually create a 1 year capacity of over 109k at Kyle for 2014 (having put in East and South Decks but not rebuilding West yet). I doubt it sells out for every game but that should make for some crazy games, esp LSU. They may be able to "squeeze in" some folks and go for the record which is 111k I believe.

Starting in 2015 it will be 102,500.

I think LSU and A&M are gonna be gunning for the largest stadium in the SEC. I'd bet Kyle ends up bigger than 103,000.

At least it's better than Miss State's reused ghost people renderings that we've seen 1089882979832 times for a stadium that seats 60,000 people.

It's not speculative. OP is fact.

And I think the record is 114k. Mich-ND a few years ago.

Sounds good. More fans to sit down and be quiet when things start going South for you guys during the game.

I have been to a ton of ATM football games, and they all start the same. Really loud in the beginning and a great atmosphere, last all the way up until halftime. Then the 2nd half is underwhelming, atmosphere wise. If ATM gets behind, it gets really quiet.

Nothing in your post is true, except for the jealous undertone.

Yeah, true. Been to several ATM games. The first half is much louder than the second. If ATM starts losing, it is like a church.

All truth.

Apart from telling you you're wrong, I'm not sure how to respond. It's too simple.

You're wrong.

fans in a stadium gets quieter when their team is losing?

GTFO with your bullshite smack. Its not like we all haven't seen the huge swaths of empty seats at Florida when y'all have been average or didn't see your fans sit down and shut up when losing.

Shouldn't the 12th man be EVEN louder when their team needs help?

I haven't seen this much obsession over a stadium renovation since Mississippi State fans were fapping to their proposals a couple of years ago

Anyone who has ever been to ANY sporting event very well knows how fans at stadiums work. Any team that gets down more than 1 score is going to have quieter fans.

You get back into the game, people get rowdy again.

What do you expect? Kyle is going to be the pantheon of college football stadiums. It will be the finest facility in history.

It's an important event for all college football fans. We can all celebrate new Kyle's arrival. It deserves our attention.
