Not too far behind Bama in numbers, but lacking first round picks.
There’s way more NFL talent on LSUs list and plenty of more bust on Bamas

Without a doubt. Hell, just look at the teams the 2011 LSU team played and beat...convincingly, including beating Bama at Bryant denny. That team was ridiculously talented.

No. Offense wasn't good enough.

That's not remotely close to accurate. Both lists have been posted in this thread. All you have to do is read it

Proved they were better than the national champion once that season actually, at their place. Played one of the toughest schedules in college football history that season and proved it on the field. Would have been one of the greatest teams EVER had they took care of business like they should have in the natty. Say what you want but you're wrong.

The 2011 LSU offense averaged around 355 yards per game and finished right in the middle of the conference in total offense. Their scoring offense was excellent, but the majority of those points can be attributable to excellent field position provided by the defense and special teams
I agree with this, however...
The 355 yds/game can also be attributed to excellent field position and special teams. Most times we didn't have a chance to pick up chunks of yards before we were in the end zone. We started at midfield a lot.

Ok? The national champion that year was fairly limited on offense as well. 2011 UA wouldn't have even beaten 2012 UA.

They scored 0 points when it mattered. Hardly a “best team”
That team was better than ANY team a&m ever put on a field.

Without a doubt that 2016 Bama defense was the best defense I have ever watched Clemson face up against. … Just goes to show how great that Clemson offense was.

Which is what I said in my original post...

Take the 2011 Alabama-LSU game. LSU drove the field only one time in that game. Alabama's offense was much more consistent throughout the so-called "Game of the Century." It just became inconsistent once it got inside the 30.

LSU fans are in a perpetual state of melt because of my being a Yankees fan. It's one of the most bizarre things about this place.

"BUT... BUT... BUT... YOU CAN'T BE A YANKEES FAN ANNNNDDD A BAMA GRAD!!! THAT ISN'T FAIR!!!! "

Yep. I started a thread with that exact subject a while back. Deshaun Watson was other worldly.

That UCF team on this list is laughable. At the very least, you could say the team that lost the title game every year for the last 15 years was better than UCF. I'd say most years you could take teams 2-5 and tag them better as that UCF team.

Do you know much about Geography? New York is no where near Alabama. The fact that you are a 'fan' of the two winning-est programs in their respective sports is what is entertaining. Prob a yuuuuge Pats guy too
