Right
That MSU defense would vastly improve after hiring a DC instead of experimenting with upcoming type coaches.
That LSU defense would also be very good.
Wrong
Same as Scrooster said. Thought aTm would beat Ucla (and they should have)
That Mizzou would have a better defense.

Right:
1. South Carolina looks like a legit darkhorse to win the East
2. Alabama's offense has taken a major step backwards this year.
Wrong:
1. Brandon Harris really does suck.
2. Herman's longhorns are not going to immediately be competitive for a Big 12 Title.

Right:
1) Shurmur has improved. He actually leads the country in both Raw QBR and Total QBR...which is NOT what I expected to be fair.
2) Stidham starts slow. I do think he'll get going and be one of the elite QBs in the SEC this year though. The time between his last actual game action and now made me think it could take a game or two to get going, so I hope he's ready for Clemson.
Wrong:
1) I thought NC State's DL would really create problems for SC that would cause Bentley to be ineffective.
2) My expectation was that MTSU would be move the ball fairly effectively, especially early in the game. Thankfully, I was really wrong as they struggled to EVER get any consistent offense.

Right:
-UGA's D is elite.
-USCe is a dark horse, 7-8 wins.
Wrong:
-thought LSU's offense would again be stale af.
-thought hurts would improve greatly over the offseason.

LSU/Georgia will be an epic SEC Championship Game

Right:
LSU's front 7 would be dominant
Aggies pass offense would be an issue
Wrong:
Feliepe Franks would be a gamer
Tennessee would have a dominant D-Line

Would be a good one for sure

Right: UGA D would be stout
Bama would beat FSU by more than 1 TD
Auburn wouldn't cover 35 point spread vs GA Southern.
Wrong: Fromm wouldn't start by week 2

Picked fricking Texas over Maryland for my only loss week 1 of CFB Pick 'em.

Right:
When UGA runs the football, they win comfortably. Chubb/Michel would look good.
Mizzou offense would be good.
Wrong:
Thought Tennessee's defense would look strong with all summer to prepare for triple option and Johnson's adjustments (I thought DL would look better).
I wasn't too drunk to taste the chicken.

Wrong - that Auburn would beat Clemson. Clemson looked crisp
Wrong - Defense wins games (looking at Missoo)

2. LSU clear #2 SEC
3. AU D will be very good again in spite of losing Adams, Lawson and Ford
If Auburn has an awesome defense, how do we know if LSU is better than them?

We DON'T know...this is just a guess based on the small sample size that we have...a sample size that is 1,000,000 % larger than we had one week ago. LSU looked very good on both sides of the ball. AU looked great on D, but struggled at OL, QB, and WR at times...

I think it's too early to call LSU a clear #2 at this point, to be honest.
I liked what I saw for the most part, but against BYU it's hard to tell.
No it isn't. You can revise things when SEC play gets here, but LSU dominated a decent opponent with 13 players serving suspensions and Key still recovering from shoulder surgery.

LSU was dominant. I have no problem putting them as second best in the SEC, and honestly Bama doesn't look like world beaters this year.

How do we know that Bama is the best? Maybe FSU sucks.

right 1)Bama's defense will still be elite despite losing the players to the nfl
2) Stidham will be prone to turnovers ( I didn't expect it until Clemson, but we got a bit of a preview)
3) LSU would manhandle BYU with superior athletes all over the field
wrong 1)Florida's offense couldn't get worse
2) aTm will be undefeated when Bama visits, and then fall apart
3) UT will be better against the run
