So I guess you think Alabama is without a doubt the undisputed National Champion in 1964 and the Razorback have zero football titles, right?

What is up with all time high scoring Oklahoma teams sucking in the national championship?

Faced a real defense, ie, non big 12.

I like Nick. I enjoy watching his teams win. Just not against LSU.

Oh that's funny. So I guess USC ignored their 2005 BCS national title and only cared about the AP one ?????

LSU will never see one again either. Neither will Bama. The BCS is long gone in case you haven't noticed.

LSU has one coming up this next year. I'm going to be the anti-PJ here and we are going to see this thing happen again in 2016.

Arky fan I salute you! Thanks for the memories. I was 23 years old, there in person and it was the best night of my life besides my wedding...I know that is cheesy, but the truth. Surreal night...first championship since 58?? It was a dream come true for this die hard fan, sometimes you still have to pinch me that it ever even happened.

That was a great night. Was 24 or so.

I give it up to Vincent those last 2 games. He was a beast.

Great fricking team

Eta: 2011 and 2005 were better IMO. But I still love the '03 team

The best part of this game was when BGB became pissy with the female interviewer going to the locker room at halftime. She asked him how the OU offense was going to be able to move the ball against the #1 ranked LSU defense. He shot back......

That's when I knew we were winning the game.

I'll never forget about that was after the way we beat USC, I told a guy in class that LSU wasn't losing again, and if we played OU, for it all, we would win.
He said not a chances in hell.(this is in VA)
I was happy he was in a class of mine, after winter break.

Man, USC was the best team in the the country that year. Only half of the title, but they were in Dynasty phase.
