“Hogs lost a heartbreaker a week later in Starkville that put the Bulldogs in Atlanta instead of Arkansas...
Could have been a rematch in the Sec Champ game had the Hogs not lost to the Bullies.”
And that game had some strange twists and turns. State led at one point 16-0. Arkansas fought back to take a 21-19 lead and had a chance put the game away late but failed to do so. State then had a drive of a life time including converting a 4th and long to eventually kick a FG to win it 22-21.

This has happened to our teams more times than I care to remember. No lead is ever safe……ever….

Because the only reason they got that Natty was because of Arkansas QB fumbling like an idiot.
Not only that but K-State had to get upset by A&M in the Big 12 title game for UT to go the BCS championship but those things happen.

Arkansas fans still send Stoerner death threats over that. They have never forgiven the guy.

Stoerner is still a fan favorite.

1998 Tennessee would make light work of Beck and this year 's UGA team 10 out of 10 times. That was an NFL squad out there basically.
Our defense would have dominated you overrated punks and this weekend we are going to put in some work as well.

I was twelve when it happened. I decided then that it was on purpose and I am unreasonably stubborn about that decision ever since.

Some Hollywood producers contacted the Burlsworth family about a movie.
They declined.

Didn't someone step on his foot as I remember it? I was watching it live .... I thought an OLineman stepped on his foot and then Al Wilson slapped the ball outta his hands or something?

Billy Ratliff blew Brandon Bulsworth off the line, which caused him to step on Stoerner’s foot.
