The key match-up imo is Brown guarding Sexton. Brown is one of the bet on ball defenders I've seen this season. If he can somewhat keep Sexton out of the lane I like our chances. If he can't then we are going to struggle defending.

Auburn will score 80+ and probably win by 5-7 points

I also expect UT Arlington to get it together.

UTA has been pretty bad the last month or so. 5-6 since December 7th with losses to Northern Iowa (7-9), Florida GC (9-8), Coastal Carolina (4-12), Appy State (6-11) and Little Rock (4-13).

Louisiana Tech has been as bad or worse. 4-8 since December 6th, though their losses have been of a better quality (SFA, ULL, Texas, WKU, Marshall, MTSU, UAB).

Ugly.

Which is shocking. They looked legit in TTown. Hervey and Neal are good players.

Totally agree - they looked like a really good basketball team. I didn't even think we played that badly that night. Of all the mid-majors we played I thought they were by far the best in person (better than UCF, too).

Sexton is going to shoot 30 free throws and AU will lose a close one.

Braxton Key is due for a breakout game. Hopefully this is the one. He can score off the dribble which takes some pressure off Sexton.

I thought Smith did a good job in the paint Saturday night in place of Hall. Not sure why Giddens can't seem to get it together. He shows flashes of being really good.

I think Auburn wins a close one though. The Bama team defense has been pretty bad this year save for a handful of games. When it's bad, teams kill us from the 3-point line.

Hopefully, but I doubt it.

Braxton Key isn't that good of a player, he isn't "due" for anything.... That said I expect hinm to score 20 vs AU on Wednesday

The guy was a foul committing machine at Ohio State. Not sure why you thought that would magically change.

He has 4+ fouls in 26 career games while only being able to play 8 games of 20+ minutes with 3 fouls or less. That is an absurd foul rate

I would actually call Rhode Island a good team. 13-3 with wins over Seton Hall and Providence, and they've won all their games against A10 opponents by double digits except one 7 point win @St Louis. With that said, they played what I imagine was their worst game of the year against us. They shot 35% and never even led. They looked uncharacteristically bad.

(Watch them lose for 4 straight now)

Like with most of the games in the conference this year, there's no telling who's gonna win it...way too topsy turvy to make solid predictions...the book is having a field day with the gamblers.
