When? Wednesday, 6:00 P.M.
Where? Tuscaloosa, Alabama

This is a great shot for Alabama to turn their season around. Hype around the team has dwindled due to losses ooc and in sec play.

I fully expect Auburn to drop a game at some point, and while I hope it's not this one, it very well could be. Alabama is stacked, will have home court advantage, and will want to play spoiler to its rival who has the longest winning streak in the nation.

Also, this would be a quality win if Bama does get it. Bama is currently 38th in RPI, while Auburn is tied for 5th.

Also, I think Avery needs this game. He's currently 1-3 against Auburn.

Prediction: Auburn 80 Bama 76

Edit: BPI gives Auburn a 51.3 % chance of winning.

I’m not that confident if Donta Hall can’t go. Hopefully Giddens can lessen his quota of 1 foul every 45 seconds

Don't expect that at all. Alabama is talented enough to beat Auburn. I've watched most of Bama's games this year. I think people are underselling the team. It all comes down if they can play consistently as a team. They did that against LSU on the road, not sure why they couldn't against AU

AU will win that game. We have not been good at the shooty hoops for a while now.

I fully expect us to lose this one. We don't matchup very well with Bama and they're picking up momentum. Road games are extremely tough to win against decent teams in conference play.

Exactly. I expect Coleman to be loud. If Auburn plays like it did in the first halves of Mississippi State/ Ole Miss games, don't see us pulling a comeback

What?! The best reasoning as to why Auburn might lose, is they have to lose at some point. Bama doesn't match up well with us, especially knowing Donta Hall isn't available. I fully expect a win. There is nothing that says otherwise..

Barn will win. We allow way too many open looks from 3, Barn will knock them down.

It’s always like that in basketball between us for some reason. It’s all like one giant reverse jinx

This would be a great win for our Resume and if we win I will feel 1000× better about our tourney chances.

We gonna get wrecked

I predict we'll see Auburn drain 13 wide open 3s.

I honestly think it’s as simple as this. If they are falling then Bama is going to have to play out of their minds on offense. If they don’t then we are in trouble.

My heart says Alabama will repay Auburn for the Iron Bowl...we get a win in the regular season and then Auburn goes on to have a successful post season (maybe not NC but solid NCAAT run).

My head says we get smoked. We are terrible at defending the 3 so that was already going to be a problem. Now we also don't have Hall so we will probably get abused in the paint as well.

If Petty comes out hot we have a chance in a shootout. Otherwise I expect a pretty close game at half and Auburn pulls away late in the 2nd.

Our only chance is if John Petty is hot Wednesday.

Nah, I definitely don't see a blowout. If Bama slows the game down and contests the 3 ball, Bama has the size to exploit AU. If Bama plays Auburn's pace, they'll lose, but I don't expect that to happen.
