The Quad at Alabama is nice, too bad the rest of the campus is a dump.

Exactly. No one can legitimately say Alabama doesn't have one of the nicest campuses in the nation

I didn't have an allegiance to any of the SEC schools growing up. I applied to Tennessee, Bama and Auburn and was accepted into all three schools. I visited each campus and Bama's was the best by FAR. No disrespect Auburn was nice but Bama's campus is in an entirely different league. I will say Auburn's campus is nice too--much much better than Tennessee's.

Spent 4 days there in August. I admit most of what I saw was thru construction fencing, but they are growing faster than the town can handle. The majority of the building is Dorms and Apartments, which does not have any Architectural appeal.

How is it growing faster than it can handle?

Not really a quad. Pepperdine would definitely be in a most beautiful campuses rankings

Alabama's quad looks like a fricking graveyard without the tombstones.

Knew it wouldn't be long before an AU fan would show his arse. Some of you are incapable of rational thought towards UA.

Nice looking dorms, but does nothing for the campus look. It usually takes away from a University when they build modern buildings amongst 1800 period Halls. I compare it to St Patrick Cathedral to the Church of the Highlands. It is the price of progress.

Which dorms are among buildings built in the 1800s?

You obviously didn't venture around campus much during your four days. Your ignorance continues to shine through.

They are built in the same style as the rest of the campus

These are tremendous looking dorms and turning into some of the older ones on campus if that tells you anything
