Yes. Very interesting to hear his insight on different guys and programs. Used to be an assistant on staff at Texas but got mixed up in the deal with Penders. Was very open and personable. Knew obviously the most about Tennessee due to the relationship with Barnes but was very knowledgeable about the SEC as a whole.

Said he had seen LSU quite a bit too. Not a fan of Naz Reid at all. Really likes Waters but said he is just way too small. Didn't push too much but he also mentioned AJ Lawson and Nic Claxton as guys on the radar big time over the next couple years.

Gafford would probably regret coming back if he went that low. Although him and Macon both on the Mavs would be pretty cool.

Williams doesn't have a position in the NBA, too small to play the 4, not quick enough to play the 3. Schofield doesn't shoot well enough to be a 2 in the NBA. I can see where Bone has the most upside as a backup point guard type.

but said Barnes doesn't think Bone will come out. Said he thinks Williams is a reach in the first round but winning teams may take a flyer on him end of first because of the makeup and productivity. Seemed to think it is 50/50 on whether he comes out.

That's big. If Bone and William's both come back next year this team is going to be really good again. Even getting back just Bone would be a win

He said the lateral quickness was more of the concern for Schofield. I think he has turned himself in to a good enough shooter. He is at 42% from 3 with a very high release and can make shots off the bounce.

Williams has some real concerns, but the productivity and makeup are off the charts. I think he will return, but I guess he could end up going since most of the weaknesses aren't correctable with another year.

I think Bone will be better than both, as well.

Gafford better learn to man up. He got punked way too many times. He'll get punked even more against the grown men in the NBA.

Williams has to be able to shoot 3s to be in a decent team’s rotation, imo. I have a hard time seeing him going first round with his current lack of a consistent jumper

I've been saying Claxton is an NBA player since last season

I should be an NBA scout!

Reid and Okeke will enter the draft.

Hagans and Williams are the only ones I can see coming back.

It’s wild that Gafford’s draft stock has taken as much as a hit as it has from last year. There’s no way he could have been projected to have gotten any better than he did this year. He showed talent last year but he looked like it was his first year playing organized basketball. I thought it would be 3-4 years minimum before he was able to contribute in an NBA game and I think he’s ahead of schedule. I don’t really have as much of an issue with his draft stock this year as I did with his stock last year.

I think if he really flames on in the tourney he could be a top 20 pick. The only thing he lack is a mean streak. He's as athletic a guy for his size as anybody in the draft. And he can drain the 3 ball. He can take over a game if he would get pissed off.

Exactly. If we can get both of them back we should have a pretty good year. I'd like to see some of our backups develop tho as we're going to need them.

Fulky is coming along well on defense but is still an absolute liability on offense. He reminds me of that awkward phase kids go through when they get a growth spurt and don't feel comfortable in their own body. If I was Barnes I'd force Fulky to take some Tai Chi or Ballet because he desperately needs better balance.

Pons seems to have regressed a bit but is still a bruiser when he wants to be.

Love what I've seen from Bowden.

Would be one hell of a team. They already have Tobias Harris so I’m guessing minutes will start out scarce.

chuma needs to come back and learn to be more aggressive and want the ball....he has a tendency to disappear, and plays way to passive at times....another reason to come back is because i want him to
