I’m telling you bub there is no possible way a 3 loss bama would stay ahead of a 2 loss Tennessee that beat them

It would have been much better for bama for UGA to be 11 and Tenn 9. Y’all could have slipped to 10 with a loss in ATL

I think Tenn is out, it would take chaos for them to get in.

Penn State at #4 is an absolute travesty.

They committee isn’t going to punish the SECCG loser like that, it would be a death sentence to the brittle line that’s holding this 12 team playoff together

But keep on I guess, you’re gonna be upset if it happens

To put it even easier

Not only would bama have a loss to Tenn, not only would they have 3 losses as well, Tenn last win would be over Vandy, the other team that beat bama….

Putting Tenn at 11 and not UGA doesn’t allow for a bama loss in Atl

You’re letting your anti-Bammer override your logic. If we’re 6 or 7 going into Atlanta, we’re in bub

Zero reason to be this confident in this.

The point of the 12-team playoff is to put the best 12 teams into the field, not the 12 most deserving. Resume matters of course, but if the CFP views Ole Miss as a better team than Georgia, then Ole Miss will be ranked higher

Ole Miss is a better team than Tenn even with those two losses, if you think otherwise you need help. They also just beat #2 Georgia.

ND losing to the 7th ranked MAC team..at home

Is worst than losing to both BAMA and Ole Miss ..2 top 10 teams on the road.

Screw the ND bias and schedule.

Why is ole miss ahead of Tennessee?

Because they’re a better team.

Statistically.
Offensively.
Defensively.
Eye test.

They’re just better right now.

They literally have done it twice

UGA fell out of the 2023 playoff by losing in the sec champ game

2017 auburn fell out of the playoff by losing the sec champ game

Two teams that were in and fell out

And all of those teams would have easily made a 12 team field, which is what we have now.

You got beat down by 18 less than 10 days ago, hard to justify putting GA ahead of Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has a weaker schedule with fewer wins over ranked teams. (eta: and 2 losses to unranked teams)

nah frick this. i know that's what they say, but 2 things:
1) it should be most deserving
2) they dont do it by who they think is better, they do a mix

the playoff committee does not think indiana and notre dame are better than some teams behind them. they do not think miami is better than georgia. i guarantee that. there's no fricking way. they try to do a mix and they suck at it.

just do most deserving. best resume. that's it, that's real and objective.

How are they ahead of Indiana? Really don’t know what this committee values the most.
