how much is sufficient?
what if that players realizes he isn't injured that bad and want to go right back in. your encouraging players to play hurt if you force them to sit out. which could lead to more serious injuries

Hopefully coaches aren't unethical enough to require something be done about it.

Auburn also knows how to fake injuries, but they want a flag thrown when someone else does it.
All of these people are talking so big right now, but I assure you the offenses will not beat Saban next year.

Nick will lose no less than 3 games in 2014, all to HUNH offenses. It's payback.

The rules committee received 324 official comments through the NCAA's web site. Seventy-four percent of commenters were against the proposal, 16% favored it and the rest were undecided. "This was a blowback," Rogers Redding, the NCAA's coordinator of football officiating and the committee's secretary-rules editor, told USA TODAY Sports. "Just the number of people that commented told you this was something."
The Playing Rules Oversight Panel was scheduled to consider any rule changes on Thursday.
"This is a victory for common sense and protecting the game of football," Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin told USA TODAY Sports.

Yeah, they won't be able to do that. They will either take a coach to task (suspension) if the coach's team does it too much or they will create some sort of rule with a mandatory number of plays an injured player must sit out before he can return to the game. You can't reasonably ask refs to try to differentiate legit injuries from fake.
I think they should sit out the rest of the drive if they get injured.
That would also mean that Swain would have only missed the play he was injured.

In other words when HUNH offenses start whining because they can't beat teams that fake injuries and have to go crying to the NCAA.

Oh, please, I don't know why Ole Miss fans jumped on this band wagon to begin with. Auburn thinks their hurry up offense is what beat us, and it didn't, but at least they did get the victory, so they can think whatever they want. Ole Miss didn't even score on Bama. So, please shut up until you do.

For some reason I thought the offense scored well over the bama's d average allowed and rushed all over that vaunted rush d.
Last time I checked scoring wins games, but alas I'm sure bama only beat themselves in that game.

That is part of the reason plus the refs were bought and paid for by Au.

Toonces is dead and there is going to be an actual thought process before jacking around with the rules?

well increasing the number of faked injuries to slow down play will give them the data they want. Then bert and saban can take the data to the ncaa and show them the HUNH leads to more injuries. check mate
Yeah or they implement a rule mandating that any player going down with an injury must sit out the remainder of the series. You know, to make sure the player us thoroughly evaluated in the name of player safety.
Check mate.
