I love this so much. It still doesn’t matter when you’re down 40 in a shutout mid 3rd though right?

That's impressive regardless of the opponent.

So if a Sec team played Katy High School and scored 70 that would be impressive?

You don’t say? Well you have played APB twice in the last 20 years and you have won by a combined total of 115-3 so I would tamper the expectations a bit lol you might win the conference but I am not sure that beating a team that’s one of two wins from a year before included a one point win over Miles College.

Definitely looking better than last year. But Arky has started the season strong the last couple years, iirc.

I could be wrong, though

Nice game, but the team you are playing has the words 'Pine Bluff' in their name.

Seriously? This is a good FCS opponent to start the regular season, and Arkansas came out with both guns blazing. It isn't like this was a "Sisters of the Poor" FCS team. Look at their record in recent years:

2023 - 2-9 (1-7)
2022 - 3-8 (1-7)
2021 - 2-9 (1-7)

My bad...carry on.

Arkansas looked great. You play the team on your schedule. I'm not throwing shade with my next comment.

That said, Harding would beat Pine Bluff. For real. Last year, Pine Bluff beat Myles College, a middling team in the SIAC (one of the D2 conferences) by one point.

Imagine Arkansas playing Harding! This game was EASIER than that game would be.

I don’t throw shade bc A&M hasn’t scored more than 50 on a cupcake in a long time. Hell, we get lucky to score past 30 in past years. But we’ve been stuck in an outdated offense.

Is this your first day? We do this all the time. Most of us realize 6 wins would be a victory, but love to peacock our Piggies. Yes, it was PB, but you can play along with the sailing for a week.

No, it is simply running up the score on a hapless opponent who doesn't match up at a single position.

SEC defenses and reality are just around the corner.

yeah... because tenner NEVER runs up the score....

I will admit it. The only time we ran up the score was two years in a row on Misery, but they claim to be a SEC team.
