When LSU was sitting at 9-15 with two series left against Georgia and Florida there were LSU fans seriously discussing the idea of winning all six and finishing at .500. Others thought there was a good chance LSU could at least finish 4-2, 13-17 for the season. Those fans were debating how many more games they needed to win at the tournament to make the tournament. Some still believed they even had a chance to host.
That was not dumb. That was delusional.
Despite all the hope, LSU got swept by both and finished 9-21.

LSU had a rough year, no doubt. If you have watched baseball for a long time I think you can see why LSU fans would be confident the team can go on crazy streaks. Your success with the new coach is great though, enjoy it before a real program like Arkansas scoops him up when DVH retires.

That is a good answer, and that doesn’t jump out when you look at stats. The .296, 11 hrs, 3 stolen bases is what I based my “good not great” assessment on.

No one thought they had a chance to host at that point except the really extreme dumb fans. Which every fanbase contains. Again, rough season but we’ll have to settle for 2 natties out of 4 years. More than a ton of programs in their history. You really suck at this.

Something or someone associated with LSU deeply wounded that individual at some point. It would be fascinating to know what or whom. All you have to do is mention those three letters and it's a moth to a flame. He's like a mechanism sprung into action. He cannot help himself.
