That will give them the number 1 QB and RB out of the portal

Are they the Indiana of this year?

They could win 10/11 games if healthy. Most of their big games are at home.

What say you

How are their WR and OL position groups looking?

I assume WR is loaded since Burks will be healthy and everyone is back. They got some OL portal additions too

They were better than their record last year, there was a stretch mid season where they were down 6 of the top 7 receivers on the depth chart. That’ll ruin anyone’s season. That said ou has a favorable schedule, Indiana this past year had an easy schedule ou will face several teams this year at or above their talent level.

WR1 broke his leg so we have to replace him now too.

I'm honestly surprised that they don't get more studs in the portal. Their collective is one of the best in the country, so money isn't an issue for them. I remember in BV's first year they had a losing record but had a great class because they bought players that they really had no business getting, given their on-field performance. Sort of like what Miami and A&M have been doing.

I'm really tired of playing Jadyn Ott, if he goes to OU

One of theose players that is just annoying as hell to play against.

OU has an easy first 5 games so they will be top 10 for Red River

They play a unranked Michigan starting a true freshman QB and a bad Auburn team

They will be media darling

For the clowns who say we have a favorable schedule …. If playing the number one sos is favorable then why don’t we see many coaches begging for this to happen to their team lol…

What does this even mean?

Oklahoma historically isn’t anything like Indiana

we didn’t buy any players it before people payed for recruits and Venables has been getting good defensive players for ages …. The one year we had a coaching change and half our players left isn’t a judgment of how good OU had been up to that point OU was the winningest program outside maybe Bama uga and Ohio state . The admins played by the rules and wasn’t buying players tthat has now changed since everyone in the sec is doing it and there are no laws, the gloves are off…. You are correct our record last year given injuries was not a true record of what the team will be at full strength with a good qb .

Very good player and would be a great pick-up.

How has OU improved the OL? That was as big if not a bigger issue than WR last year when they played Ole Miss. Ole Miss sacked Jackson Arnold 9 times last year.

lol OU literally has the toughest schedule in the Country this year. Last year was a train wreck with all the injuries and playing 2 freshman quarterbacks. A new OC and and actually qb coach to go with a great defense OU should win 9 or 10 games this year. SEC teams they play Bama, Tenn,, Auburn, Texas, Missou all starting new quarterbacks

OU got the top O lineman in the Country last year in Micaeal Fasusi and signed another high 4 star and redshirted Eddie Pierre Louie and a couple others last year. O line should be a strengrh.

I’m just perusing, but did that Oklahoma fan say they didn’t pay players before people started buying them?
