All trolling aside aTm posters, what do you really expect for 2014?

Football that is.
yall seem to be depending on TF at a number of positions. Speedy and Kyle both have high expectations. Similar to LSU in that regard, except Jennings is likely our guy.
I see yall saying 2015 is your year, but what about next season? Seems like yall have given up on 2014 altogether, so I'm genuinely curious. And not to mention LSU is really shaping up to have a phenomenal 2015.
Rest of tRant feel free to post your realistic expectations of the ags.

8-5. I'd be very happy with 9-4 and ecstatic with anything better. Disappointed with 7-6. Anything worse and I'll be pissed

I'd like to see 8 wins for us in 2014; but 7 wouldn't surprise me.
Too many unknowns & transitions.
And I'm fine with that this year.

Is the D not going to be much improved?

A blowjob from your mom finally.

No idea how much. It can't really be worse. I expect it to improve somewhat and our offense to surprise a lot of people once it gets going. We should be running the ball more too, especially early on

I seriously would not be surprised at 4-8, 0-8 SEC. No trolling.

It'll definitely be improved. But it'll be offset by a step back on offense.
We're going to be incredibly young in the front 7 still (virtually all of our talent will be Fr/So and probably 6 of our 7 starters) but we'll have a ton more depth so if one guy isn't/can't get it done, we'll actually have another guy rather than just being forced to leave a guy out there.
I really think our season will hinge on QB play. If we can get adequate QB play, I really could see 9 or 10 wins. But I'm expecting whoever wins the job is going to be all over the place because despite both having a ton of talent, neither has much experience. They'll have games they look great and games that they turn it over, look confused, etc. And our defense is likely still another year away from being good.

Of course you aren't.

I'm expecting 8-5 with one upset and one loss that we should have won. So maybe we beat LSU but lose to Ole Miss. Something like that. I'd be pumped if we won 9 or more.

Can I hear your reasoning on why you should beat ole miss. The past two years we have lead very late into the game. Ole miss doesn't lose much and y'all lose JFF and mike Evans.

while I agree, I think by that point we'll be pretty dangerous and I'd be pretty surprised to go 0-fer, especially with 2 of those at home.

OTOH, I think early on, we're going to misfire a bit and I agree with WBS that we'll probably drop one we shouldn't
