Since a few Aubies haven't the time to post about their game and only can only post pictures and whine in Bama/Tenn threads, I thought I'd help out those of you interested in your own game this weekend.
THE GAME
Auburn (1-5, 0-4 SEC) visits Vanderbilt (2-4, 1-3 SEC) in an SEC matchup Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Vanderbilt Stadium (40,550) in Nashville. Kickoff is set for 11:21 a.m. CT.
Auburn and Vanderbilt will play in the 42nd meeting between the teams. The series is currently tied, 20-20-1, after Vanderbilt’s win in 2008.
Coach Gene Chizik is 31-15 in his fourth season as head coach at Auburn; 36-34 in his sixth season overall as a college head coach.
Auburn leads 9-0 in all games played in Auburn, while Vanderbilt leads 11-7 in all games played in Nashville.
The Tigers are 9-5 in SEC home contests under Gene Chizik since 2009. Under Chizik, Auburn is 7-8 in SEC road play.
The Tigers are 6-4 in games with a morning kickoff (pre-noon local time) under head coach Gene Chizik, dating back through 2009.
Auburn’s veteran defensive line can account for 89 career starts among seven Tigers (oops, not so young)
LAST MEETING WITH VANDERBILT
Aubun scored 13 points in a 60 second span in the first quarter, but Vanderbilt rallied from a 13-0 deficit, as the No. 19 Commodores defeated the No. 13 Tigers,14-13, at a sold out Vanderbilt Stadium.
The loss moved the Tigers to 4-2, 2-2 SEC, while the Commodores improved to 5-0, 3-0 SEC for the first time since 1943.
Lots more Au stuff here (except for offensive stuff.. they seem to be lacking in that regard)

McCalebb now has 2,309 yards rushing, to rank 11th among Auburn’s career leaders. His 6.26 yards per carry average places him third all-time at Auburn, behind Brent Fullwood (7.15) and Bo Jackson (6.62). That 6.26 average ranks McCalebb second among the NCAA’s leading active players in that statistic, behind Army’s Raymond Maples (6.41) and ahead of Michigan’s Denard Robinson (6.23).
Lacy averages 6.75 for his career, guess he doesn't have enough carries. He has about 230 carries.

You care more than we do, but that goes without saying.

The thread does seem overly focused on Auburn...

9 sections. 5 are focused on the series. Majority is Vandy/Au related.

Well no shite, Hunter has posted something like that for a while now. Majority of those loses to Vandy were prior to the SEC even being formed and when Vandy was half way decent
