Why do we have the same sht video board from 2007? Talk about adding on, add on a bigger video board.

Should been done when Rbjork eff up the end zone that the jumpotron is in.. When that side was done they should redid it and the seating area better.. But they did not want to spend the money then.

They did replace it when they expanded in 2016. If you remember, the previous version had side boards. This one, the screen covers the entire thing. It looks similar so some people think its the same but it was updated.
Honestly, the video board is the last of my concerns for the stadium. The most needed update is the West (press box side) concourse underneath the stands. That part is the oldest and most out of date and still has horse troughs for pissers.

About a year later state put one in slightly larger. I could care less about getting into a Jumbotron arms race. Let’s focus on not having one of the shittiest stadiums.

College stadiums aren't really meant to be nice or luxurious like most NFL stadiums. That's why we have rebel clubs. If you want that get rebel club tickets.

I find it very odd that anyone would be so fixated on the size of our Jumbotron. It’s already huge and I would imagine on the larger end of the college football Jumbotron spectrum. We are not lacking in the Jumbotron department. We are quite literally lacking in every other aspect of the stadium except the Jumbotron.

I agree about college stadiums. Keep the lower bowl simple and pack people in there. We need new club level seats and a better concourse all the way around. Maybe get to 75k but no more.That would fix the stadium forever.

I agree with the sentiment on the video board but our sound system and concessions leads the conference. We also have TVs in our concourse, so you can keep up with the game even if you aren't in the stands, which is awesome and only a few stadiums have this. As far as amenities, we are top of class. We simply need more asses in seats and a west side renovation for the concourse. We do those two things and we are set.

The west side is an embarrassment.
And if you can believe it, the proposed design for the west side actually makes things worse in my opinion. I don't even understand WTF they're doing.

Obviously I misunderstood what I read or saw. But it looked like they were building a new row of suites ABOVE the abomination that is the west side press box.
And clearly that press box needs to be torn down and replaced with suites. But if they put suites on top, then that prohibits them from tearing it down at least for the time being.
On top of which, I think that would make that side look even more hideous and ridiculous than it already does.
So maybe I don't understand what they're proposing?
