Done with this team. The pitchers are absolute garbage outside of Nikhazy, injured Hoglund and sometimes Broadway which has been shaky at times. Batters hit into too many double plays and don't have enough clutch hits.

We are about to only win 3 of 10 SEC series this year. Completely unacceptable with our talent. Vandy and Georgia are a lot better than A&M which is the 2nd worst team in the league so I'm counting those as series losses. Hope we enjoy being a 2 seed in someone's regional and going 1-2.

But hey we were ranked #1 at the beginning of the year! Are you still riding No Colors or whatever your name is?

Bianco’s post game explanation was “that’s baseball”

About to update this thread. I hate seeing Ole Miss down like this. I’ve been a Bianco defender but I’m starting to think he has found his ceiling at Ole Miss. This season is far from over tho. Slumps end and teams get hot in the SECT. I have seen worse teams of State’s make it far in June

If anyone wants to see an elite baseball team with great coaching just head on over to Starkville. Congrats on winning the SEC State.

Mike Bianco teams rarely ever swing above their weight class and make runs at the end of the year. We always play right to our ability level or below it. Especially post season. Bianco has never won an away regional and only won 1 super regional in 20 years. We have played our way into an away regional this year. On paper we are a super regional level team and we aren’t even going to host a regional. So same song and dance part 21 this year.

Every 3-4 years we have a team that on paper is elite but underperformed in the post season. The thing that scares me right now is the rest of the sec is catching up in commitment to baseball. Mike is still stuck in his ways. We are quickly getting passed by everyone else while still bringing in elite top 10 recruiting classes. The talent is there. Our struggles are 100% coaching.

We made runs to close the season in both 2018 and 2019.

If we win 4/6 remaining conference games and/or have a strong showing in Hoover, we are going to host.

What are the chances we "host" but as a visiting team? Since the venues are chosen ahead of time this year, do you think the NCAA would do that? We don't get put into a hosting seeding but still manage to play at home but another team is picked at the higher seeded home team?

Getting bounced by tennessee tech in a home regional is not a run. No one gives a shite about a sec tourney win if you can’t even win your own regional. This just proves my point even more.

2019 was a decent year from a post season standpoint but once again ended with Mike not being able to get it done against an SEC west team we had a series win over already that year.

We probably go 3-3, 4-2 is maybe doable but honestly 2-4 is more likely. And let's face it, it could even be 1-5 depending on how this pitching thing turns out.

Any word on Hoglund's MRI today?

I agree that bianco's teams never play over expectations. I just hate that the best offensive team we've had since 2014 is being wasted because we cant finish games on the mound. We will be a nightmare draw as a 2 seed in someone's regional, but my gosh if Hoglund is out for the season I just dont see how we can survive the regional format. The only way we can win a series is to have perfect starts from Hoglund and Doug. If either of those guys are off we are done no matter how many runs we score.

Yeah, we definitely would be like the really bad #2 seed in somebody else's regional. That host would not be happy about it, but that does not make me feel any better. And yes, to win a game four on, we'd have to score 15 runs and that probably wouldn't even do it.

The only way we could possibly go 4-2 is if Hoglund is back this weekend to his normal self. That is highly doubtful though even if he does pitch he won't be 100%.

If Hoglund doesn't pitch the next 2 weekends we will go at best 2-4.

TJ for Hoglund. Really hate that for him as he was going to be a top 10 pick. Hopefully he still gets taken in the 1st round but that's just terrible luck for him. That pretty much ends our season. Can't make much of a run with 1 starting pitcher and 1 relief pitcher. Hopefully our young hitters can keep improving because I have no idea where the pitching is going to come from next year.

Maybe we start tearing the cover off the ball, you know when guys are actually on base. And maybe somebody or somebodies, steps up out of that pen. Hope springs eternal, boys.

I'm planning on going to Oxford this weekend, if the gen X, Facebook-addicted frickers don't buy up all the gas.

I commute quite a bit and am working this weekend, these arseholes who never go anywhere panic buying piss me off

I got it in batesville of the interstate and seemed like everything was fine . No lines . And just grabbed a few gallons to top off as I didn’t know when/if more would be available .

Hope you don’t have any issues

The only time when studying all the time in your house only leaving for groceries and grabbing dinner works in your favor

In all seriousness, if you commute long distances and are in an affected area that really does suck
