I know there’s some optimism about our record and we may be hosting and blah blah. But frankly , we are a solid tier below the elite teams in the sec and that’s been proven over several consecutive weeks.
Our bullpen is atrocious . And if our starters can’t go late into games, it’s basically over then.

I agree. Dougherty has been promising but if he or diamond get hit then it’s over.

The sad thing is, even if we host a regional I don’t know that we have the pitching to win it. If we lose a game with either Nikhazy or Hoglund starting, we will have a real hard time clawing our way back with the bullpen we have. Only way we could win a regional under that circumstance is if we score 15 runs per game

This weekend has that WAOM feeling for me. Hope we don't mess around and lose this series.
A&M was close to winning the series at Arky and they barely lost to State in 2/3 games. But they also got swept by Bama and lost a series to Mizzou. Let's hope the A&M team that shows up is from the latter.

Doesn't help that this is an away series... although the home field advantage hasn't helped us much this go round

Ideal start on the road just turned into a nightmare. Might be the last time we've seen Hoglund pitch for us.
