Have you only been a Rebel for like six or seven years or something? It was a miracle when we'd land a 5* before Freeze... It was cheating when we landed 5*s under Freeze (not saying I disapprove, but there was certainly some heppin' to get those kids to Oxford). We also have 4* QBs in back to back classes now, which isn't something we've typically ever been able to do. Like, why even be a fan if you're going to get so pissy whenever something ostensibly good happens for our football program?

Don’t care what anybody says. I’ll take 7 or 8 wins a year every year. Year after year. Sorry.

Grant Tisdale just committed to Ole Miss

Good pickup.

He is athletic and can make some passes, but he needs some polishing. He has his senior year to go. They just got a 5th state championship in Texas 6A while he was a junior.

Allen was a powerhouse this year and will be about every year. It is the largest high school in Texas and will remain that way. There are no plans to ever build a 2nd HS in Allen.

Allen basically recruits nationally for athletics and kids move here just for sports. I knew a family that moved to Allen from Nashville for their son to play football. Tisdale moved to Allen when it was time for real football as well.

It is a great school to have a pipeline into.

Now we need 2 good WR's to go with Tisdale.

Who are the prospects? Who is the best WR in MS?

2019 3* DT Lloyd Murray, Jr. out of Wichita Falls, TX committed today. He’s only a .8277 composite, but he has a very impressive offer sheet, which leads me to believe he’s underrated/would’ve been bumped up if he’d committed to Bama, or LSU, or Oklahoma, or many of the other schools that offered him. I hope he blows up his senior season, but stays loyal. Seems like a solid enough get though!

lol this kid decommits after like 6 days bc he said he stopped "feeling the love" once he committed. Good lord

Not sure there are any great ones this year. This MS class is loaded at LB, DE and WR.

Braxton plays LB and WR for his high school. Projects as a nickel/slot safety. Shows good instincts on film, tackles well and has good size and speed. Solid addition in the secondary.

Would love if he sticks AND qualifies, as there are a lot of grade risk rumors. With that said, I think Diwun is the best player in the state and will be valuable in recruiting the other Mississippi blue chips this year.

And I wonder who started said rumors? I would prefer we didn’t turn into “ED Lite”. By even mentioning them you extend them.
