There is a good one from Allen TX ( EJ Ndoma-Ogar)maybe Tisdale can get him in the boat. Looks like we will have to go out of state for oline or be satisfied w/ guys w/ one or two power 5 offers and some midmjajor offers.

Anybody know what Jamal Peters said about Black on Twitter? He deleted it after Black called him out

We picked up a commitment from 2019 S/OLB Jay Stanley out of Brandon. Doesn't look like he was on anyone's radar. Still, if he ends up being worth a damn after his senior season, maybe we did good getting in on him early

Free 247 article about his commitment. I do like the way he talks about the Mississippi class of '19

I believe the highest rated OL in Mississippi is from the coast, ranked #15 in MS, and has committed to Miami.

Hopefully Stanley helps recruit his teammate Jonathan Mingo. I believe we are recruiting Jonathan as a receiver. Georgia and Arkansas have offered him as well.

Hopefully we can extend the pipeline more. Allen plays in the top division in TX and this is their 10 year recap. 5 state titles through this stretch.

They are the Bama of Texas HS football, send all the bagmen to Collin County.

3* OLB Ashanti Cistrunk out of Louisville, MS committed. Another in-state kid who doesn’t seem to have offers, but it does look like he was on Bama, LSU, and State’s radar, so maybe there’s something there. We need any and all LBs anyway

Hopefully, we have some great talent evaluators and are getting offers out early. Something to be said for that.

That zero next to 5*'s is deafening, we're number one on volume alone. 12 3*'s isn't going to cut it.

That’s how I feel. We are going quantity over quality.

With that amount of 3 stars, we will be lucky to finish in the top 20

I agree. Pump the brakes on this #1 in recruiting talk. It's a long way to next February signing day which was a month and a half ago btw.

What are y'all talking about pump the brakes? This class is shaping up to be about the equivalent of this last year's class, which was like 10th in the SEC, get hyped.

Cool. Keep getting those caliber players like we are used to and people will be happy.

And yes, I'm saying cheat. Do whatever it takes. Make the NCAA catch us again and give us the death penalty. Until then, keep things going. frick doing things "the right way". All that got us was mediocrity and never beating any teams worth a shite

Yes, It's time that we break out the pull-out couches and free pizza at Funky's and all of the other credible stuff that the NCAA dug up after five years of investigating.

Maybe if we get real risque, we can get another rival institution to pay a player then blame it on us. Again.
