Do you think anyone will want to come play in Oxford to finish their college careers. Sprinkle in a few guys that can contribute right away with another monster recruiting class

Burton is the only notable one that Ive seem. D1 does have 6 listed and outside of Burton I couldn’t tell you the other 5 were on our roster.

Burton is a one trick pony with control issues. Unless he can develop other pitches he will be a bullpen arm good for one time through the opponents line up.

Who are we losing off this years team? I’m not up to date with all of the eligibility due to covid year and medical redshirts. The obvious is Elko but technically don’t Dunhurst, graham, and Bench have an extra year if they wanted it?

Technically but they're not coming back. I'd give anything for Graham/Bench to return but it's extremely unlikely from what I've been told.

I would think Dunhurst will be back for sure. His bat needs lots of work.

You lose all of your signing bonus leverage if you come back and get drafted as a senior. The only player who can come back this year and still have leverage next year is McCants who is a draft eligible sophomore. So unless Dunhurst' draft stock just completely plummets, he gone.

We have been absurdly good with catchers the last 20 years under Bianco. I’d love to have him back obviously but we will be fine if he leaves

Hurston Waldrep is in the portal. LSU and Florida are the early favorites.
