What's everyone reading/hearing from spring practice. From what I can gather the RB room and depth on the Dline are bright spots so far. The linebacker room and depth on the Oline are some areas for concern. We might actually have a decent rotation on the defensive front this season

Sounds like we are going to play much more aggressive on defense. Going from a bend-dont-break approach to more of an aggressive exotic blitz approach.

Luke Altmyer has the edge right now in the QB race. Dart has had turnover issues while Altmyer has really taken control of the football. Trigg the TE transfer from USC has been the best player on offense so far. The defense has had major issues matching up with him so far.

This makes me happy. Dart seems like a good kid but I like when a guy that’s already on the team beats out the expected new starter transferring in

Competition brings out either the best or the worst in people. Seems like it's bringing out the best in Altmyer

People forget Altmyer was a four star prospect with an awesome offer list.

Trigg has the potential to be all sec behind that TE from Georgia. There are some concerns at oline but it is only spring and they have all summer and fall camp to get adjusted to everything. At this point the defense should be ahead of the offense and it looks to be the case. I hate to judge a team off spring but it has the potential to be another fun year.

Lane ain’t done in the portal either.

WR Deion Smith is coming to Ole Miss. I’d feel a lot more comfortable if we picked up another OL and another LB. Willis should be solid at LB but he’s a freshman. Troy Brown, Khari Coleman, + a run stopper would be pretty stout.

Anyone hear of any possibilities?

Are you talking about the incoming Freshman LB that hasn’t even set foot on campus yet?

Got me thinking about some of our all-time busts like Chris Strong, Brassel, Patrick Patterson, Barksdale, Tobias Singleton. Who else?

Who was the announcer that always called him Ricky Davis? Hilarious but sad list of names.
