I hate how so much of our fanbase (not just students) care way more about tailgating than the actual game.

I find myself more surprised some OM fans can't just care about both equally

I'm 24 and already find it just a game. I'll be pissed for a day but still go out and drink afterwards. Still, I look forward to all of the tailgates I go to during the season equally as much as the game itself. I can at least control my tailgating outcome.

Every SEC school has students with this issue, but I agree that Ole Miss has a more severe case of it. I was with a group that wanted to leave at the end of the 3rd iduring the 2013 LSU game, so they could get a great seat at the Library. Nevermind that they got into the stadium nearly 2 hours early for their spots

The students were too busy dressing up for Halloween and for Harambe and shite to care about an SEC football game. pathetic.

That is the one thing here that I think is way more a legitimate a gripe than the sun. Like I said earlier, the sun thing is laughable. Lots of students in hotter places have dealt with that for a long time.

But the GA student seating is weird. I have no idea how common that is, but at UF everyone had a seat number. They passed them out of the ticket windows sequentially, first-come-first-serve starting either Wednesday or Thursday. If you had more a group of I think 10 or more, you could request block seating where everyone in your group would be seated in a chunk together. The various Greek and other student groups would do this as well, so they each had a section. Basically, if you wanted good seats, you showed up on Thursday when the ticket window opened.

Having to coordinate tailgating with trying to reserve seats the day of the game is a little much in my opinion. You shouldn't have to worry about where the hell you're going to sit on top of everything else going on game day.

Try a noon game at the Swamp in August. The last one I went to was 103 degrees inside the stadium. That Georgia game may have been rough, but it wasn't that I promise.

Geez. Another empty student section today. They really do need to give back at least two sections.

But then what will they do when the "entitled" little brats complain about not being able to post on Snapchat or instagram that they were at the game for the first quarter then left?

This is the kinda shite that leads to long term mediocrity. If that.
