Caracci has a crazy story and has been through some tough shite, this makes me kinda wanna go with him, but all year all-around MVP play is Olenek*.

Caracci. He's saved this team multiple times.

I take back what I said earlier. Caracci it is.

Nick Fortes is the team MVP. Excellent defense behind the plate, threw out over 50% of runners trying to swipe a bag, huge offensive production (especially in the clutch), and a leader.

I’m not sure this team wins as many games as we did without Fortes. I don’t know how anyone could see it differently.

With that said, strong arguments can be made for Carracci.

Yeah, I was just caught up in another Caracci moment and the fact that Olenek has found himself mired in quite the slump. If I were really voting, it would be hard for me to cast a vote for a closer given the amount of time he actually plays. There certainly is nobody on the team that's working every pitch like the catcher and if he's also hitting well and a team leader there's where you find your MVP.

BTW, we sure need Olenek to relocate his groove. I was worried that shoulder issue might screw him up. Something certainly has him headed south at the moment.

Fortes hasn’t slumped either.

Ole will get hot again. We need the hot weather to make our bats hot again, and they will.

I'm glad we had Zabowski yesterday.

This team has potential because any one player can get hot and put the team on his back: Caracci, Ole, Fortes, Etheridge, The Big Zabowski, The Porn Star, Rollo, K-zinger.

And Keenam the Freshman.

Golsan.

Caracci for me. Oley has had a great season, though.
