No problem. I was hoping for Tee to take the offer because it would chap even more asses after the Durkin addition.

Well the return of Nix is both good for recruiting and our receiving corps right?

So the Lane Train is currently sitting at 9 on the field assistants. That’s assuming Roach is retained... I haven’t read where he would or would not be at this point. I may have missed that.

Jeff Lebby — OC/QB
Randy Clements — OL
Joe John Finley — TE
Kevin Smith — RB
Derrick Nix — WR (per Yancy)

DJ Durkin — Co-DC
Chris Partridge — Co-DC
Freddie Roach — DL

Blake Gideon — Special Teams

We’re looking at one more hire on the defensive side for now, correct?

Nix has stood the test of time... Nutt, Freeze, Luke, and now Kiffin. Pretty impressive really. I know he’s an asset when it comes to the recruiting trail especially in MS. I’m not sure he’s ever coached WR’s.

Correct. Gideon is supposed to help in the secondary, and I would assume one of the co-DCs will also be a LB or CB coach depending on who Kiffen wants for the final spot

I see that we officially announced four new strength coaches. Did we have this many under Luke? You heard about anyone other than Paul Jackson.
