Man. All of our pitchers are getting shelled. Oh well.

Say LSU gets Bianco but Dan and Cliff turn us down. Who is next on the list ?

I wonder who we'd realistically hire though? ECU's coach? He elevated that program but they have a talent ceiling

We are top 5 in facilities and fan support. Plus we have the money to pay whoever we want. I legit think we would get either Godwin or McDonnel if we made a serious push.

Why would Zona's coach come here? We only have better facilities. He probably has it made in the PAC12 and they have history

Do you see their crowd tonight? There might be 2000 Arizona fans there for a super regional. Baseball is a dead sport in the pac12

I can handle losing a hard fought one but I sure hate to get blown out.

If we lost Bianco to LSU and Cliff and Dan both said ‘No Thank You’ do we call Southern Miss’ coach ? Not a splash hire but the team that guy put together can pitch and absolutely rake. Maybe he brings some players like Tremble with him ? Just a thought.

Second super in a row the team was uncompetitive with a trip to Omaha on the line.

I don’t know who would be 3rd on the list. Scott Berry has a done a good job in Hattiesburg.

If LSU were to hire Bianco, I would think we have a chance at Dan and Godwin

If we fire Bianco, I think Dan is out of play.

Let’s not kid ourselves though. LSU is not hiring Bianco and we are not firing him.

If Skip , Ben McDonald and some other former players have been throwing their weight around during this search they might. He’d win there but hell with those resources and the TOPs scholarship any coach can win big there.

I’m not confident Bianco goes to LSU either. I guess it all depends on who’s making the decision there. I’ve read he has some support.

Imagine sitting in a boardroom and saying, “In the last 21 years I have closed on one really big deal, and there are seven other times I was really close but couldn’t get it done. Most other years I had the resources to do well but squandered them. I want a contract extension.”

There is a 0 percent chance bianco goes to LSU. We will have him for another year.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Perfect way of putting it.

A new company is absolutely thrilled the first year they turn a profit. However, each year after that businesses expect growth or heads roll. Bianco has the resources to make it to Omaha. He just isn't good enough of a coach to do it.

Top 5 recruiting classes alone should get us to Omaha. Bianco fails at coaching the talent we have

Bianco has it made in Oxford. I don’t think he’ll leave tbh.
He hasn’t been good enough in the clutch moments but I’ll be honest I feel for him. He’s a good, genuine dude. Just sucks that he/his team chokes it away on the big stage

I’ll give bianco this. He was unlucky this year. If he has hoglund we make it to Omaha.

that’s true. If Doug and Gunnar were both in the rotation we beat Arizona, and would be set up really well against Vandy Stanford and nc state. We’ll probably never have a rotation that talented again. Sucks but we’ll try again next yesr
